The % gauge is a precise instrument, please handle it with care. Guage with rubber cover protection to prevent scratches. You can get accurate readings from our engine compression gauge.
  • ❤️ Application: Cylinder leak gauge set is designed to detect a variety of common engine faults such as worn piston rings, worn valves, cracks in cylinder walls, cylinder bores, blown head gaskets etc. The unique design of the safety valve can withstand pressure and fuel safety.
  • ❤️ Working Principle: Once the leakage tester has been connected to one of the cylinders, compressed air (45-100psi) is fed into that particular cylinder through the built in pressure regulator. Diagnosis is made by observing the amount of leakage that is indicated on the cylinder leakage gauge and by listening for leakage at various points of the cars system.
  • ❤️ Three Adapters: There are 3 sizes adapters brass coated aluminum 14mm(fixed on a long hose), aluminum 12mm and 10mm (both can be connected to 14mm adapter), can use to test any gasoline engine with 10 12 14mm spark plugs.
  • ❤️ Easy to Storage: All the parts are organized in a plastic case to protect the components and easy to carry and storage. The integrated set of compression tester allows testing of many engine systems. This cylinder leak tester is not suitable for shallow cylinder. Please check your cylinder first before bidding.

Note:
1. Please wear gloves and goggles when use.
2. This cylinder leakage test kit should be used by professional or under the guidance of a professional.
3. Always refer to equipment manufacturer's operation instruction, compare to the manufacturer's recommended readings.
4. Select neutral (or "park" if automatic transmission) and keep hands clear of the engine as engine rotation may occur when using this tool. The ignition MUST BE turned off.
5. Turn regulator knob fully anticlockwise before connecting to compressed air.
6. Require an air pressure of 45 to 100psi. Ensure the air supply is clean and does not exceed the pressure quoted.
7. Unscrew the adapter after the cylinder is cooled to prevent the hose from softening and not driving the adapter to rotate together.
8. The test can only be carried out after the engine reaches normal temperature.
9. If the threads do not match, do not twist the hose forcefully.
