So the description states this is a:-
Shower wheelchair for disabled. Shower chair with wheels, commode toilet chair. Wheelchair potty facility, wheeled shower chair, wheelchair with toilet, toilet chair for elderly.

When this was delivered you do have to put it together as it comes in parts.
It wasn't too hard to fit together and didn't take too long. Slot in and screw to secure in place. The seat clips over the metal bars.

* You can adjust the height.
* The arms go up and down.
* The foot rests tilt from horizontal to vertical.
* There is also leaves on the side to swing the leg rest out the way of needed.
* The potty slides in and out from behind.
* Easy foot control locking wheels.

Unfortunately due to ill health in both my parents we have had to had use for this item.

It came at the right time as we were having a new toilet fitted. But because of this also now this can only be used for in the wet room and portable commode. It won't fit over our toilet because our new one is alot bigger than, the standard size toilet.

We are lucky that we have room in the wet room for it other wise we would have had to have it within the house because it can not be stored over our toilet like I seen some other people because of ours not standard size toilet.

Its not over padded, so it's not that comfortable but I'm guessing your not really ment to be in it for too long.

Its easy to clean and I give it a quick dry with a towel after each shower.

Only advice I would recommend before you purchase this, is to measure the height and width of your toilet and also that the person is under 18stone in weight.

So far so good
But I will update this review if needed.

Purchased this product to replace the one supplied by the NHS. Very pleased with the product overall for my disabled wife. It moves extremely well and my wife has taken to it and suits her requirements. Her carers have found it suitable as its much easier to manoeuvre after the previous one. The only downside, a minor one, is the arm rests are much shorter than the old one which means her elbows protrude so there is a need to be careful & cautious when negotiating doorways etc.

I was so pleased when this item came up as my father-in-law's health has taken a decline of late and his mobility is now very limited. This chair enables the user to shower whilst seated and use it as a commode beside their bed etc.

The chair arrives in quite a large box and needs assembling, however, it is quite easy to do so, and you don't even need instructions. Once we had put this together, I was pleased to see how smooth it was to push...I mean this thing glides effortlessly across smooth ground and is so easy to push.

The seat is comfortable and wide enough for a larger person (up to 265lb/16 stone). It also removes easily to get access to the potty below. Once used, you simply slide it out from the back to empty. The only thing I will say is this sometimes takes a little tug, which isn't ideal when full! lol. It can, however, also be used to slide over the top of a toilet once the potty is removed. You just have to make sure your toilet fits. Most standard loos should be fine.

The chair is easy to clean and dry off once has been used in the shower. The leg rests are adjustable and easy to fold inward/outward whilst the user gets in and out of the chair.
The brakes are good, stable and lock well.

I'm really pleased we got to try this chair and am confident it will be a great aid to my father-in-law. If we encounter any problems along the way, I'll be sure to update.

We bought this chair as it looked better quality than others and we were happy to pay the higher price. Unfortunately though it does not fit over our toilet which is what we bought it for. Good quality and very sturdy but complete waste of money for us as it doesn’t fit and is not adjustable. Please make sure you check measurements before ordering. Going to give it away to Age Concern, hopefully they can get some use from it.

Fantastic chair for anyone with disabilities or mobility issues; as a wheelchair user who has uses many different bathing/toileting aids I have to say this chair is one of the best if you struggle with transfers or standing. It’s sturdy, the brakes work well even on solid/wet floors and the armrests lifting up is a great feature for transferring into it out of the chair. It can be used as a stand-alone commode if needed and the whole chair can get wet in a wetroom without worrying about seat pads or anything of the sort. It also rolls over our toilet also so can be used in this way.

Only downside is it is harder to push oneself as there are only small caster wheels but this does mean the frame is slimmer so can fit through standard doorways. Overall I think it’s a great multi purpose chair, I wouldn’t be without one now.

Husband had severe lisfranc fracture, NO weight bearing on foot for 15 weeks. We have a regular house, skinny bathroom/shower doors. We could go ANYWHERE in the house with this chair! Lightweight, rolled easily on extra plush carpet, turns on a dime. One good/bad thing about this chair- when you lock a wheel, it is LOCKED. It takes quite a bit of foot pressure to unlock, so make sure wheels are conveniently positioned for you to get your foot onto them. I didn't, broke numerous finger nails until I got the hang of it. Used as a potty chair if I needed to run a quick errand, a great comfort for both of us. Highly recommend.
