Arrived quickly and as described. It is small. Sizes below (not grip size). Came well packed in a plastic bag, and a paper packed amazon box. The basket is made of wire and seems sturdy enough. The handle is made of wood. The photos are with 9 shop "large" eggs, and there is still room for your hand to carry it and maybe a couple more eggs (see photos). The wire mesh doesn't prevent the eggs from rolling about if you are using it to carry them around, certainly not with 1, 2, or 3 eggs, but 4 plus there's less room to move - so id say it's usable for egg collection with care (or better if lined with a cloth). Still it does the job and I like the quaint rustic look of it. Would recommend and would buy again.
