    First one I ordered had black paint marks from the glasses and they are tightly on so leave dents in the nose. I ordered a replacement which was alot better but the glasses still leave a small mark as you can see

      This doll is just SO Beautiful!! Her theme colour is lavender purple & for Shadow high, this colour makes SUCH a great doll in & of itself, but the colour isn't the only Great thing about her: her fashion is stunning.

      She wears a leather minidress ( which has been done a few times before in rainbow high) BUT they actually mixed it up this time by giving her sleeves made of dark lavender Lace, a flocked choker with mother of pearl pendant & fabric pumps/boots. She also includes a ring inside her hat that can be removed ( I haven't becouse it has the k-chinkers holding it down) that is what the bottom spikes are a part of.

      Asseaories: the camera is a nice touch since she specialises in photography, but I wished they included a few plastic "photo" slides as I this it would be cute for dolls to have mini photographs. The teacup & saucer is such a adorable little touch & I love it. Magazine is fine

      I was a bit worried that she would have defects but when she came she’s beautiful.

      I wouldn't say her colour is "Lavender" but Lavender Lynn is a really beautiful doll! The design of the doll and her outfit is beautiful, she's great quality, fully articulated and she has a stunning face. The extra long lighter coloured hair really works, and her glasses look sweet. She also has a beret hat, hair accessory to match, a choker necklace and faux pearl earrings. One of my favourite Shadow High dolls so far.
      While I would definitely prefer a second outfit instead the accessories that the Shadow High and Rainbow High dolls come with now, and despite the fact that Shadow High series 3 seems to have less accessories than the previous set, I've got to admit that series 3 does have some really nice accessories, and they are completely new ones and different for each doll in the set - that definitely gets thumbs up from me! much better than having re-coloured versions of previous accessories. Lavender comes with a magazine that has actual pages with illustrations, a camera that she can hold, and a matching pretty cup and saucer with a design on it that she can hold too (she also comes with the usual comb and doll stand to match her colour). I really like the fabric used for her shoes and the silver on them doesn't seem to shed, so overall I would definitely recommend her, but there are a few issues you might want to know about which is why I didn't give her 5 stars.
      If you are a collector who leaves their dolls in the box then none of this should affect you, but if this is a gift for a child or a collector who likes their dolls out of the box then please be aware that there is a lot of gel in her hair, so it will need a wash before attempting to brush it. The main issue is the glasses though. I've taken pictures of her with them on as she arrived and also I opened her box and took them off to check since I heard that other collectors said they left marks and dents on the doll. Unfortunately this is true.
      The glasses are held in place by a clear band that goes over her earrings and is held tightly in place, but they're painted and some of the black paint transferred to my doll's face. The paint washed off easily enough, but the section where the glasses grip the dolls nose still leaves dents in the sides of her nose that really you can't do anything about. They don't look too bad on mine - I tried to take close up pics so you can see. I'm hoping MGA correct this problem with later doll batches, but for now you might be best keeping her glasses on if the dents bother you. Overall though I still think she is gorgeous

      Unfortunately this doll looked fine in the packaging, it was only after de-boxing her and taking her outfit off that I noticed there were lots of stains from her clothes on her skin, as well as a black stain on her leg and face (hidden by her skirt and glasses) and she also has several dents on her cheeks and nose were the glasses were. Her arms have purple swirls on of staining from her top, and the dolls upper legs have this weird almost sticky feeling, it's really a shame. :/

      I am so happy with this doll, she is so beautiful. The box was a little beat up which isn't the sellers fault but rather the way it was packaged or stored and one of the dolls legs won't bend but it doesnt matter because she is for display out of box anyway.

She had soft hair, little gelled but you can always comb it out. I'm only giving 4 stars since her face had black paint where her glasses were (on her nose).
