This dramatically reduced retention in my Sage dose control pro. Makes it work pretty well as a single dose grinder now. Very happy with the purchase! I've already recommended to three of my friends with sage grinders. Areas for potential improvement. 1) the fit onto the hopper could be a bit tighter. There is no issue with sealing, but it does come off when I try to remove the lid which is a minor irritation. 2) I feel like it might be even better with one extra bellow ring. That said, it really is a good product.

I single dose and to help stop retention in the grinder I purchased this hoping it would make a difference.

You do have to give it a few firm pumps to remove the ground Coffee grinds.

I am pleased to say that after having used it for a few weeks and measuring the additional coffee that comes out after use it appears that it I can get between 0.5g & 1.5g extra out through the grinder.

It might not sound much but it does make a difference to the single dose retention.
