Bought one of these when our camera picked up a rat running round our garden. They appear to be coming from under or inside a neighbours garage. Took a while to figure out the best place to place the trap. The trap was easy to set up and we found peanut butter works best. Apparently rats have a great sense of smell and know human smells so I used gloves when setting the trap, I also rubbed the trap all over with grass/dirt. Caught 3 rats so far and I’ve bought 2 more of these traps.

I've had this Rat trap a while now and not caught one rat despite watching them going about the garden. I set up the trap as instructed but when I check later they have been in and eaten the tasty treat but without setting off the trap. It's just not sensitive enough. Don't waste your money on this.

I got this for a gap under our gate which in the past rats have gone through and I wanted something there as a 'just in case' and this thin fit perfectly and feels well made. The sticker on the top is cheap so I think they should leave it off. The force needed to clip the trap open is a lot which means the snap should be a good hard one ending the rat's life should it venture in there. So far so good and I am happy with the purchase.
