Review of Diamond Wire Saw, Horn Cut on Sheep, Emergency Travel, Outdoor Camping.

This a simple idea that works for small cutting jobs, I do say small jobs as whilst these wire saws are really good they are also hard work if worn out.
Having lived in rural area��s for over 30 years I have seen these saws used on many occasions by farmers, forestry workers even emergency workers. They are small and easily carried in the pocket or vehicles, I have seen them used to cut sheep horn, release animals entangled in brambles or barbed wire fences.

At 800mm long they allow enough back and forth pull to get a good bite with every stroke, it does seem odd that a piece of wire that one can slowly slip between the fingers without harm can cut through horn or wood, this down to the diamond coated wire which is not rough or even feel particularly sharp, yet when pulled back and forth at speed is very effective in the cutting of small items.

As one can imagine this can be hard on the single fingers used to operate so I think it obvious that gloves need to be worn when in use, the finger loops are covered in a rubber sheath but they are covering the same cutting wire used for the sawing action.

A simple fold away device that has many uses.
