I have bought two of these dehumidifiers now, to have one running at each end of a damp bungalow. They have transformed the air quality: much drier, almost no condensation on windows, and feeling warmer as a result. It runs very quietly, and it’s easy to empty the water container when it’s full.
Customer service was outstanding when one of them developed a minor fault after nearly a year of continuous use, and the company immediately sent a replacement product for free, with no fuss!

This is a very well made dehumidifier. It is very efficient and quite quiet. It can extract a huge amount of humidity and has a very large water collection tank with a handle. It is quite difficult to remove the tank and putting it back after emptying. This tank has a fitted cover which is not a tight fit which could leak when emptying the tank through the provided, rather a small opening.
The other negative is that the user manual is quite useless. I recommend that it should be updated to a more comprehensive option or at least provide a video instructions.
Finally, this is an excellent dehumidifier and it is highly recommended.

Good dehumidifier, operates quickly and quietly - does what I bought it for.

What really impressed me was the PureMate customer service. There was a slight issue with the first product delivered (as happens with all manufacturers from time to time). I reported this on a Sunday evening, I received a response first thing Monday morning and a replacement unit arrived on the Tuesday morning - before the other one had been picked up. All arranged with one email - far above customer experience I've had with any other company these days.

This works well to remove moisture from the air and is easy enough to set up (despite the lack of any detailed instructions and the need for a bit of guesswork). Whilst I wouldn't describe it as silent, it's reasonably quiet and doesn't intrude.

There are two glaring problems though.

Firstly, when you leave it on auto/low fan mode, it occasionally kicks into high fan mode for anywhere up to 15mins. And that is really noisy. Especially if you've left it on auto/low fan when you've gone to bed. There's no way to disable this and none of the controls work to reduce the fan speed. The only way to resolve this is to turn it off at the plug, wait a few minutes and then start it again. Irritating.

Secondly, the design of the water tank is atrocious. The side grips are awkward, and when removing or placing the tank you have to ensure that there is no deviation to the horizontal plane or it just will not fit properly. Moving the tank a single degree up or down when sliding it in or out will make removing or fitting the tank stupidly difficult. Also, the plastic cover for the tank doesn't fit properly. It's designed to clip onto the top of the tank to seal it but the cover doesn't click into place so there are gaps and it leaks when you empty the tank.

Essentially it does the job but there are design and manufacturing flaws.
