But great for light everyday use in between your full vacuum days which I’ve extended to every 2 weeks because this works so well on carpets stairs hard floor. Only thing is you have to empty frequently cos it’s small and fills up quickly. Found that bit a little difficult to open the pod and take out the sponge and inner bits to empty. Otherwise a great little product for the money! Recommend.

This is a great little carpet sweeper. It’s very small so hides behind a living room door. We use it downstairs for hoovering up the pet hairs. Previously (past 25 years!!) I have swept down there most days or had to lug our heavy hoover downstairs. This is perfect. It has two settings, high and low, and low does the job just fine. High hoovers the mats without completely sucking them up. The hand held section makes the stairs easy - good for a quick tidy on the bottom few that seem to get dirtiest. It isn’t super strong in the way a full sized hoover would be so for the carpets I would still hoover with the big one, but for daily pet hair and other accumulations downstairs this is excellent. Very lightweight and easy to use. Excellent price, I thought I would have to pay much more. Very happy with this purchase.

I’ve had this a few weeks now. I live in a small 2-bed bungalow, so no stairs and with mostly laminate flooring, plus 2 rugs and a long-hair cat.

This hoover is unfortunately woeful. It has far less suction power than the last stick hoover I used – the Duronic VC7/BK Upright Stick Vacuum. Plus there are some other pretty fundamental problems:

Cons –

The suction is lousy!!!! I have to go over and over areas, and like another reviewing has noted, it’s hopeless at small bits like cat litter, which is partly what I needed it for! Even on the higher power setting I find I have to keep going over it and then sometimes get the dustpan and brush out!

My other major gripes are:

That it doesn’t stand upright when you need to move something, it falls over either side!!!! I’m fully expecting to break quite soon because of this. Something in the design isn’t right as it’s simply too wobbly and just collapses to either side when you try to stand it upright!!! It's utterly ridiculous, I've never known a hoover to do this.

Also – the small attachment doesn’t properly click into the end of the handheld part – so it falls out all the time!!!!! I mean, why, how hard can it be to ensure it clicks into place???

Finally, my other MAJOR problem with it is that it’s useless on any rug or carpet with even a slight pile, it simply won’t push and I so have to bend down and push really hard with both arms completely defeating the purpose for me due to my back problem and the reason I bought it was it was light and the height was much better than my previous one which was far too low. PLUS, it barely picks anything up off the rugs, and as for cat hairs, forget it! It’s hopeless, again, another reason I bought it...

So to re-use that well-known phrase: It does NOT do what it says on the tin!!!

Pros –

It’s light weight which I need as I have a lower back problem

I like the height – except for on rugs!

It’s easy to manoeuvre

I like the lights on the front which highlight the area you’re focussing on

The charger is easy to use and seems to last a good while I’m finding.

Overall, I simply cannot recommend this product and am very disappointed with it as now I will have to look for yet another hoover which will work better and fit my requirements.

I have been wanting a ‘dustbuster’ hoover for ages but didn’t want to pay a ridiculous price as I am or was not a lover of them. I just needed it for a particular area that aalways seemed to have a mess on one side of the room. (Where we mainly walk and the cat sits)
Bought this Akitas 3in1 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner Upright Handheld Stick Lightweight 22.2v 150W Rechargeablue cleaner as a trial. Not at all excited when the parcel arrived so opened it 5 hours later. Then I began with, ‘Oh, that went together easily’, followed by ‘let’s see what it’s like then’.
The excitement built as I moved it around so easily and THEN I opened it up to empty whatever I had picked up. Wow, this could be embarrassing, the amount of dust it picked up was great. I went round again and even more dust 🫣. Brilliant. And it puts the pile back in the carpet.
I still use my main hoover Henry, but will use the Akitas daily to keep the dust down that my other hoovers don’t seem to pick up..The Akitas doesn’t pick up bits like paper or the odd cat treat too easily but I would say, get this, especially if you have a dust allergy (I don’t but I am well impressed).
It will need emptying preferably every time it’s used. It will knock off if the container is full or battery dies without notice. (Unless you keep a close eye on the charge light at the front of the cleaner..
It’s easy to clean thoroughly and put back together (if you put the filter section in correctly) after a little practice.
I’m not sure why the cleaner needs lights on the base but it does look good and I can hoover without the house lights on if I want.
Overall, I am happily impressed with the Akita.
