This is my initial review as I'm building the e-trike, and I'll add as I go along.

First, the packaging and instructions are the best I've ever seen for anything purchased from ��غ��, and i buy a lot!! Painted surfaces were double padded and everything was heavily zip-tied to prevent movement. Screws and bolts were pre-installed eliminating the laborious task of hunting for the next bolt. Everything was there, too, although I did find one screw and nut loose in the shipping carton!!

Based on its top speed this e-trike will never be NASCAR contender. It's probably a senior adult machine. I'm 84, a pretty good builder of things and having a ball. I'm building it in my front room with an overlayment on the carpet.

I am just about finished and have experienced some difficulty with the rear brake, specifically with attaching the cable to the interesting drum brake mechanism. I also have a question about mounting the front tire and the proper placement of a bushing in the tire fork. I have posed the questions to the parent company of Super Handy and am still awaiting their replies - admittedly a bit longer than I was hoping for. I will keep you posted in my next update.

That being said, I highly recommend this e-trike at its very attractive price.

UPDATE: The seller has been very helpful addressing my questions and has included specific photos and videos to guide me. I'll chalk it up to my limitations on understanding how the rear brake works and is set up and adjusted. So I strapped the trike to my trailer and took it to a local bike shop. They were familiar with these brakes and had it adjusted in 15 minutes and for only $7!! He wasn't going to charge me, but I insisted.

5-Stars for Customer Service and it won't be long now before I'm on the road!!
UPDATE: I took her on a test run yesterday and all went well. I think that I've placed the seat too high and I need to rotate the handlebars up about 10° so the are parallel to the road. Rear brakes work fine, but the front brakes need to be adjusted. All three modes worked flawlessly, as advertised. I thought, when I purchased it, that its max speed was slow compared to others. Believe me people, 10mph is plenty fast enough!! This is particularly true for Seniors.
5-stars all the way: price, fantastic assembly manual, fast customer service, quality of parts, and ease of assembly. My only hiccup is with brake adjustment. They have provided videos that go by too quickly but, with practice, I should get the hang of it. Great e-trike!! Highly recommended.

Die Verarbeitung des Fahrrads ist meiner Ansicht nach sehr schlecht.Es wirkt beim Fahren sehr instabil.Wie der TÜV so ein Rad abgenommen hat ist mir ein Rätsel, da wo der Rahmen das meiste Gewicht tragen muss sind nur einfache Schweissnähte LG Heike Dinger. Übrigens die Trommelbremse hinten funktioniert nicht können sie mir dafür bitte Ersatzteile schicken Danke

I have never needed to give an item such a poor rating but to save someone else the headache and the waste of money, this is necessary.

Barely a week with the bike assembled and it literally fell apart as I was riding it. At least it is electric so I didn't "need" the pedal for the 2 miles back.

Save your money. Go with another choice or maybe don't buy the bike off ��غ�� and learn from my mistake.

I received mine today and had it assembled in a few hours. Only basic tools were required.

This was packed well. There was only one loose bolt in the carton. Components were of expected quality or better. The frame appears to be designed as a trike, not just a bicycle conversion, although the rear end is a common conversion axle.

Assembly was straightforward. The instructions are very good. Parts are separated into clearly numbered bags.

Higo connectors were used throughout. Everything goes into a tiny overmolded controller that's zip tied to the headset.

The torque sensor is disappointing. At first I could not even tell if it was working. It definitely does not command power from a stop; I was standing on it in soft ground and there was no assistance. On the road, if I pedaled hard for awhile I could imagine it providing slight assistance. It's not as if it doesn't have a bit of power; switching to throttle control, the motor would pull me through bumpy soft terrain. I could not tell if the torque sensor still commanded power in the throttle mode. I'm guessing it's one or the other.

I originally said that the brake levers didn't have switches. They do. I didn't recall connecting them but that's because all of the handlebar controls were already connected.

Note that the brakes and controls will likely need to be adjusted. A few minutes with a hex wrench should do it.

The seat post clamp is weird. It's not a typical quick release. Instead, you have to crank with a floppy handle that collides with the battery pack on each turn.
