First off, the WiFi feature was a pain to set up, but if you follow the instructions closely you can get it to sync with the app on your phone. You need the app to control the flapper. It has a cyclical movement flapper that can only be turned on and off with the app. Child lock is also only done with the app to disable the panel buttons in case you have a child while is a button pusher. This has relatively lower noise than the cheaper models, but you can still hear the motor. To be honest, I enjoyed the light humming noise to put me to sleep. It has an led light that changes colors depending on the humidity level. I would like to turn that off at night as i use the dehumidifier in the bedroom. I might end up having to buy electric tape to mask the light.
It pulls plenty of water from the air. It also heats up the room in the winter. Overall I’m happy with my purchase. I will update this review in a few weeks.
