Positives:
When extending the legs, pretty smooth, no jerky motions
Tripod ball fixes pretty well even with DSLR lens. No wobbling even when operating the camera
Good value for money, I bought one off eBay for the same that was noticeably worse previously. This feels better made
Build is reasonable. Legs are a good level of aluminium. Ball is very smooth
Weight is good for the height, not the lightest tripod I've had but but the lightest 'tall' tripod. Having said that, I've 'mimicked tourists with shopping bags knocking it in a controlled environent' and it didn't fall!
Appearance, though unimportant - that orange tone is nicer than rival brands
Disadvantages:
Some levers are a little plastic, and the rubber on the centre pole is a little lose.
Conclusion: best under £50 tall tripod I've had, worth the money. If you can live with a little plastic, definitely worth it - functional ball head tripod that shouldn't let you down. Probably the best until you can afford carbon fibre
