Just like so many other products these days the idiots at Panasonic have re-designed this oven from user friendly/ergonomically good to absolutely awful. No longer are there easy to use knobs that get you to your desired time setting or temperature in half a second. The controls are now all touch design where you must try to accurately reach your required setting using up/down touch buttons that either move you slowly through micro progressions or, if held in touch, move the display so rapidly you go way past the setting you wanted and have to start all over again. Of course, that is if you can read the controls in the first place. Even in a well-lit room the sub-surface lettering is pretty much invisible. We had to use our phone torches to show them up properly! What genius passed this design as fit for use? Next: First time we used it (grill mode) - the 'ceramic' tray warped so badly that it became unstable on the supports, rocking up and down as you tried to slide it in and out. Did anyone even test this useless piece of equipment before it was put on general sale? But worry not Panasonic, you are not alone in the field of dumbing down designs, just about everyone is doing it now, taking excellent designs arrived at over decades of development and fine tuning and turning them instantly into unusable, sometimes downright dangerous, pieces of junk to fit to a budget or a marketing departments desire to announce 'New!' to the unsuspecting consumer. If I could have awarded No Stars I would have. A complete waste of my time and to cap it all, ��غ�� returns of this item need you to stay in all day waiting for UPS to collect it (no alternative return method is allowed). UPS do not give you a collection window or any contact concerning the collection. If you miss them you have to go throught the whole returns procedure again and book yet another day off and wait for them (ours was collected at 5.30pm) Save yourself the trouble, do not buy this junk in the first place.

Very versatile machine that's nice looking, fairly simple to use and very easy to clean. Instructions are online with no paper manual supplied. You do get a quick start guide but that's it. I would much prefer a traditional paper manual as, although it's fairly simple to use, there are a lot of options and I would rather read than scroll.
The microwave has adjustable power up to 1,000W, extremely useful for defrosting or melting chocolate as well as normal microwave cooking.
The grill is just ok for me. I tried making toast but it took forever so probably won't get much use as I prefer my grill to be a bit hotter.
The oven will probable be my most used function due to it's small size and the speed it preheats. Much better than heating my huge cooker oven. Great for heating pies without getting soggy pastry. The only issue is that 200 degrees is it's highest setting but I rarely need hotter.
The combi mode is better than expected, mixing microwave and oven cooking, you get the benefit of faster microwave cooking with an oven crispiness to pies and pastries. Just be careful, you with the containers you use, you're still microwave cooking, so no metal.
It takes a few more button presses than I'm used to but that's a small price to pay for the sheer versatility.
The spinning plate is what's killed my last two microwaves with the wheels wearing through the enamel and the bottom falling out, so I'm pleased to see this doesn't have one, which makes cleaning much easier.
Overall, I'm very happy with it, a paper manual and a hotter grill would be the only things I'd change, but that's nit picking really. It still deserves five stars for it's compact size and sheer versatility.

This is a 2024 model and a replacement for the prior Panasonic model. For years we have bought Panasonic Microwaves and never been disappointed until now. Microwaves have always had a clock until now.
It is not a cheap product nearing £280, a compact model, well made and perhaps needs time to adjust to the digital control layout and operations. However, Panasonic ought to market clearly the main change to the compact microwave and why. The only plus we can see from this change is we now have a large appliance on the counter top that only needs to be switched on when it is to be used. Mr Gill

First, no clock, why?! All microwaves have a clock. No manual. Logging on every time to see how things work and cook is so annoying. Cooking, oven just takes too long. Max temp 200. NOT value for money. The previous Panasonic was far better and easier to use. Why update and make things more complicated. Further, after use could someone inform me as to why there is so much condensation in the microwave after/during cooking. The glass gets steam inside the gazing, and the water actually drips from the door when open. Why does it do this. It’s seems that the extra fan within the microwave is just nit powerful enough. On reflection, a bad buy.

Just getting to know this model but not really any complaints so far. Steaming or boiling veg does make a lot of moisture and necessitates wiping down afterwards, but the cavity is smooth and makes it easy to do. Having no turntable in the way is good. I find the control panel impossible to read without good light and my specs but it's a small price to pay for dark and swish good looks. Size more than ample for my simple, one-person cooking.
