I used this for turning up the volume of a particular game that relies HEAVILY on sound..
I saw that a particular YouTuber paid over 500 notes for a headset..
Silly when he could've got one of these for 40 quid.
Plus it is great to have the control over the audio rather than being limited to the sound card/volume control of your PC.
I would imagine, as people also suggest here, that if you have difficulty hearing it would be a real benefit..
But it has many other uses and I can see it just being a useful thing to have, especially for a musician, content creator, editor, or in a music studio setting.
Doesn't feel cheap, in fact it feels more expensive than it is.
Easy to use and as I say aesthetically pleasing.

I have a hearing disability but love music and thankfully can still hear music properly through headphones. I have a stand alone CD player with a headphone output although the volume was a bit limited. This device was just what I needed to boost the signal to my audio-technica headphones and I could add 4 more if I needed to! The metal build of the PH05 is solid with metal knobs which turn smoothly. Sound from the amp is excellent and with the 30% discount it was fantastci value as it effectively replaces what would need to be quote an expensive amplifier to get a similar sound from headphones. Highly recommended and I will now be on the lookout for other Fosi products as they are evidently a class act!

I have generally like Fosi products. I work from home and sometimes need a little music to drown out the world outside so I listen to music through my wired headphones for great sound. I always felt that my iPhone was limited in how the sound came out but it’s always been good enough for my needs.

I was curious about this amplifier because never thought I would need something like this. At the price point I thought why not try to enhance my listening experience. Like most novices when it comes to appreciating music, I always felt that the system is only as good as its weakest link. To me that would be the headphones I am using. So that’s why I went with some high-end wired headphones rather than Bluetooth. They sound great, but sometimes I feel like I don’t have enough control over bass treble, and other factors to make this sound even better. This little device actually has a lot of controls to customize your sound. So in my set up, I just use my iPad for the audio signal to put into this device and hooked up my headphones. I have to say that even though I am using an app like Spotify on my iPad, the sound is so much better when I am able to customize the output. The sound is fantastic. I would even say the Bill quality on this thing is solid. Now I am really enjoying my music and even watching movies makes it sound even better as well. I really feel this is a great product and Fosi has done a great job in their designing engineering. I highly recommend this little amp.
