First impressions when unboxing this alarm clock lamp were that it is quite large and has a good weight. Carefully packaged, bubble wrapped and with both a full instruction leaflet and quick start guide this makes a good impression.
The design is striking. My first thought was to put it in a guest room, just because I wanted to show it off!
There are 10 wake up sound samples of varying length, and without reading the description this is how I would describe them.

The light is controlled by touch, and has three scales of brightness. At its brightest there is easily enough light to read by.
The sunrise alarm follows the same steps as dedicated sunrise clock. While the simulation of a sunrise is not as good as a clock designed specifically for that purpose, the alarm works well, especially in combination with its sound effects, to wake you up gently.
In summary, a striking design, intuitive controls, good brightness and alarm features. I am happy to use this clock,
