I've used this shelving unit in my potting up area in my garden, as I needed extra for all my gardening bits and bobs. I like that it's black and it has an industrial aesthetic which matches well with the vibe I've got going on it that space. It didn't take too long to put together. All the parts were labelled so it was straightforward to do. The thing I got wrong, was that I started with the first shelf too low, so that by the time I'd reached the top, I had run out of shelves! I honestly did not want to take it all apart and start again, and that's how mine has stayed. I think it's fine, because I can easily reach everything on it. The diagrams on the instructions are too small and not clear enough to guide you where to begin with the first clips. You have to begin at the base and work upwards, shelf by shelf and this is something you might want to consider before embarking on assembling it. All of the shelf heights are adjustable, you just decide where you want them to go.
The construction is really good. I think it's well made. The unit feels sturdy overall and I was able to adjust it be stable on uneven flooring by turning the feet. It doesn't wobble or feel as if it will fall over. There are screws to fix it to the wall if needed. Other features included the additional side pieces which prevent items from falling off and clear plastic sheets which would be useful if you had slim items which would otherwise slip through the gaps.
It's great. I've no issues with it whatsoever, perhaps apart from some single use plastic counters I had to throw into the rubbish bin. It came really well packaged in a very strong cardboard box. I think it's ideal for storing my gardening items within easy reach and I like the design. I'd be happy to put this in my bathroom for toiletries and towels, if only I had the space. Wherever you choose to use it, it's going to look great.
