Superb quality jars a very generous size which we use to store cereals they easily hold 500g off rice crispies and cornflakes with a little room to spare the lids are very well sealed just be careful when removing them they are very snug which is a good thing

I’ve ordered this pack of two jars to make a couple of plant terrariums. The jars arrive extremely well packed in a hard cardboard box, cushioned in polystyrene. And the jars themselves are lovely - really thick, solid, chunky glass , and a good size - so plenty of room to add substrate and plants. The lids fit well, and are a lovely design, with a big central knob. So if it wasn’t for the lid seals, these would be incredible ….its just such a shame that they finished them with these flappy hardish plastic seals ( like the sort of plastic a yoghurt pot is made from), rather than the usual rubbery sort. True, the lids still fit snugly…but the plastic seals deform rather than squishing, so you’re left with an uneven looking messy overhang inside the jar, and unfortunately being clear glass, it shows. If like me you’re using as terrariums, it probably won’t be a problem…you could easily keep adjusting till they sit just right and then hardly ever need to open the lid again, however if you were opening it regularly, I think the plastic would eventually break off.

These chunky, glass storage jars are a great addition to my kitchen, attractive enough to sit on the counter and versatile in use.

The push-top lids come with a plastic gasket and a generous knob for ease of removal. Unfortunately, the seal is not 100% airtight, meaning that the jars cannot be used for a lot of food items. However, they are perfect for sweets and staples like pasta and rice which tend to be used up fairly quickly. They could equally well be used for things like craft supplies.

I like the wide mouth, as it easily accommodates a scoop, and the fact that being glass, you have a quick view of the contents.

Reasonably priced. Recommended.

These do exactly what I need them to do - they are large, the glass is of a very decent quality and they can hold almost anything you'd want in it! I've chose to pop pasta in one and some small snacks in the other one (to get it out of the prying hands of my kids)! Whilst it's not airtight (so you can't put fresh food/fruit in here for long periods of time), you can safely store most other things without it spoiling or being ruined.

Cleaning it is very easy - so you can just pop them into the dishwasher and they seem very sturdy - so they can hold up to a lot of wear and tear. Delivery came in well packaged and I think these would be a great gift for someone!

These Absovetu glass storage jars arrived very securely in their cardboard packaging.

I was impressed with my first handling of these jars but when I took the lid off I noticed the seal, it fits the lid well, but the lower part of the seal looks warped and cheap (not like the neat edge in the photographs). It also feels quite brittle and hard, that it will not last.

I then noticed that the jars look like they have a thin film of oil (or something) on them. To clean them I put the jar and lid through the dishwasher. The glass came out sparkling clean but I noticed the lid seal had slightly discoloured and had taken on a slight red colour!

The seal is a shame as it does fit snugly; you are able to lift the jar up with the lid, but it is not of the same quality as the jar itself. It is also not of the same quality as another Absovetu jar set I received that has lovely soft silicone seals.

Seal issues aside, the wide mouth of the jar enables easy access for products such as dog treats, biscuits, or sweets. Each jar is made from thick pressed glass and feels reassuringly solid.

Ich habe diese Packung mit zwei Gläsern bestellt, um ein paar Pflanzenterrarien herzustellen. Die Gläser kommen sehr gut verpackt in einer harten Pappschachtel an, die mit Styropor gepolstert ist. Und die Gläser selbst sind wunderschön - wirklich dickes, festes, klobiges Glas und eine gute Größe - so viel Platz, um Substrat und Pflanzen hinzuzufügen. Die Deckel passen gut und haben ein schönes Design mit einem großen zentralen Knopf. Wenn es also nicht die Deckeldichtungen gäbe, wären sie unglaublich... es ist einfach so schade, dass sie sie mit diesen schlagfesten Plastikdichtungen (wie die Art von Plastik, aus der ein Joghurtbecher besteht) und nicht mit den üblichen gummiartigen Verschlüssen fertiggestellt haben. Stimmt, die Deckel passen immer noch fest... aber die Plastikdichtungen verformen sich eher, als dass sie sich zusammendrücken, sodass Sie einen uneben aussehenden, unordentlichen Überhang im Inneren des Glases haben, und das merkt man leider, da es sich um klares und durchsichtiges Glas handelt. Wenn Sie es wie ich als Terrarien verwenden, ist das wahrscheinlich kein Problem... Sie könnten einfach so lange einstellen, bis sie genau richtig sitzen, und dann müssen Sie den Deckel kaum noch einmal öffnen, aber wenn Sie ihn regelmäßig öffnen würden, würde das Plastik meiner Meinung nach irgendwann abbrechen. Trotzdem ist es sehr praktisch und ich kann es empfehlen.

Große nützliche Glasbehälter mit Deckel für Dies und Das

In einem braunem Verkaufskarton werden "Absovetu 2er Set Rund Vorratsgläser mit Deckel 2 Liter - Gläser mit Deckel Luftdicht Bonbonglas mit Deckel für Gewürzgläser Waschmittel Waschpulver Candy Mehl Müsli Sauerteig Aufbewahrung", gut geschützt durch Transportformen, geliefert.

Das Glas hat die richtige Stärke, um viele kleine Dinge, wie z.B. eine Masse Bonbons mit ihrem Gewicht, aufzubewahren.

An zwei seitlichen Nähten macht sich bemerkbar das diese Glasbehälter aus industrieller Fertigung stammen, denn zwei Hälften wurden zusammengeschweißt. Solche Nähte sind bei mundgeblasenen Glasprodukten nicht zu sehen.

Damit sollte ein Glasbehälter nur zu Dekorationszwecken aufgestellt werden, wenn er mindestens zur Hälfte mit irgendetwas gefüllt ist. Ansonsten fallen die beiden Nähte sofort in den Blick eines Adlerauges.

An jedem Deckel ist, über dem innerem Rand, eine doppelte Plastikscheibe befestigt. Durch diese Konstruktion wirkt ein Deckel wie eine Luftabdichtung und hilft um Dinge mit Aromen in dem Vorratsglas aufzubewahren, wie z.B. Kaffeebohnen.

Vom Platz her wird sich in jedem Haushalt ein Ort finden an dem ein Glas seine Lagerstätte finde, mit Kindern im Haus sollte ein sicherer Aufbewahrungsort gewählt werden, sonst könnte das Glas irgendwann zerbrechen oder die gebunkerten Bonbons verschwinden nach und nach.

Bei der Größe jedes Glasbehälters stimmt auch der aufgerufene Preis und so kann dieses Set mit zwei Gläsern beruhigt weiter empfohlen werden.

Wir haben die Gläser für zwei Unterschiedliche Sachen im Einsatz. Eines der Gläser hat den Zweck unser Mehl vor Schädlingen zu schützen. Hier passen zwei Packen in ein Glas. Das andere Glas haben wir beispielsweise zu Weihnachten für Mohnklöße genommen. Das ist ein Schicht-Dessert welches optisch ansprechend in einem Glas hergerichtet wird. Das kam echt super an.

Die Dichtgummis sind keine richtigen Gummis, sondern eher mittelhartes Plastik. Daher gehen die Deckel etwas straff runter und wieder drauf, aber das ist ansich kein Problem wenn man es weiß.

Die Gläser haben wir in der Spülmaschine abgewaschen und beide haben es unbeschadet überstanden.

Klare Kaufempfehlung von uns.

Ein Zweier-Set großer Vorratsgläser mit luftdicht schließendem Deckel.

POSITIV
+ große luftdicht schließendes Gläser-Set

NEGATIV
- Dichtung rund um den Deckel wirkt ziemlich billig (optisch und haptisch). Sie muss auch beim Spülen entfernt werden, sonst gelangt Spülwasser in/Hinter die Dichtung (Hand oder Spülmaschine). Das Entfernen ist mühselig, geht aber, ebenso wie das erneute Befestigen
- Der Deckel sitzt mit der Dichtung relativ stramm, das Schließen geht daher nur mit Kraft und geräuschvoll.
- Preis liegt für mich für das Gebotene jenseits der Schmerzgrenze: Set für rd. 33 € d.h. 16,50€ je Glas. Ich finde für das Gebotene wäre ein Glaspreis von rund 10��€ völlig angemessen.
- unnötig große Mindestmenge von zwei Gläsern

FAZIT
Die Gläser sind in Ordnung und optisch ansprechend geformt. Es ist einfachstes Guss-Glas aber für den Zweck in Ordnung. Mein Kritikpunkt ist die Dichtung des Deckels - sie reisst in Optik und Ergonomie das ganze Set runter, wirkt sehr billig und die Handhabung nervt einfach komplett. Hauptkritikpunkt ist aber der Set Preis - für das Gebotene finde ich die Gläser, auch im Vergleich zum gängigen Marktpreis ähnlicher Gläser zu teuer. Hinzu kommt dass man nur zwei Gläser als Mindestmenge kaufen kann. Für den Preis und angesichts der nervigen Dichtung würde ich dieses Set nicht (wieder) kaufen, würde es auch nicht verschenken wollen und kann es somit leider nicht uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

UNNÖTIGE MINDESTMENGE
Dies ist leider ein Artikel mit unnötig großer Mindestmenge: Der Verkäufer bietet nur ein Set mit zwei Stück an - auch wenn man eigentlich nur EIN Stück benötigt bzw. EINS die sinnvolle Mindestmenge des Artikels wäre. Für den Verkäufer ist eine erzwungene größere Mindestmenge natürlich attraktiv. Aber wenn man als Käufer wirklich eine größere Stückzahl benötigt, gibt es dafür ja die "Artikelmenge" mit der man eine größere Anzahl des Artikel kaufen könnte... Ich jedenfalls ärgere mich als Käufer zunehmend über solche Artikel mit unnötig großer Gebindemenge.

RAHMENBEDINGUNGEN
Ich durfte im Rahmen des ��غ�� Vine Programms dieses Produkt testen. Ich bin kritisch. Vor allem ist es mir wichtig, das Gebotene immer in Relation zum Preis zu setzen und möglichst unvoreingenommen objektiv zu bewerten. Mein Ziel als Käufer ist es nicht das Beste - sondern das Beste für den Preis zu bekommen. Jedes zur Verfügung gestellte Produkt betrachte ich mindestens genauso kritisch und unvoreingenommen wie selbst gekaufte Ware. Der bei Bezug der Ware ausgewiesene Preis war 32,99 € und fließt in dieser Höhe auch als wichtiges Kriterium in meine Bewertung ein (als faire Bewertungsbasis wird immer der Preisstand bei Bezug berücksichtigt, auch wenn der Artikel zwischenzeitlich teurer oder günstiger wurde!).

So bewerte ich in ��غ�� Sternen von 1 * bis 5
5: ist besonders guter Qualität für den Preis vorbehalten oder besonders bemerkens- oder empfehlenswerten Produkten
4: Gute Qualität für den Preis. Würde es wieder kaufen und empfehlen. Hier macht man nichts falsch.
3: Produkt ist grundsätzlich in Ordnung aber nur unter Vorbehalt zu empfehlen.
2: Erfüllt die Mindestanforderungen. Würde es aber (für den Preis) nicht noch einmal kaufen.
1: Produkt ist unbrauchbar, defekt oder gefährlich oder Preisniveau völlig unangemessen. Eher ein Fall für die Rückgabe.
