Why would you make the bright blue LED flash for 3 seconds in every 10 seconds continuously when transmitting audio in a cabin where chances are the ambient light has been dimmed!

UGREEN has established a reputation for making decent products at competitive prices over the last decade or so. I have quite a few of their products and they have all been, with one single exception, very capable and good quality. This device is no different.

Build is fairly good. I wouldn't call it premium quality, but it's better than average. No creaks or groans when you apply some stress to it.

The controls are really easy to figure out. Although it comes with a very brief manual, I doubt you'll need it. Transmission or reception is controlled by the clearly labelled switch. It's also easy to pair with a mobile device. It says it can pair to two devices simultaneously but I have yet to try that.

Sound quality is decent. It doesn't offer all the codecs currently available but the sound quality is still good. Range is fine here, fairly typical of decent Bluetooth devices. I was able to maintain a stable transmission through 3 double bricked walls and two rooms in my house.

I'm using it on a Sony Bravia TV. They are locked to only transmitting audio to Sony headphones via Bluetooth. I don't own any Sony headphones so plugging this device into the 3.5mm headphone socket allows me to use any headphones I choose instead and it works well.

Price is fairly competitive. I know you can buy similar devices for about half the money, but I have trust in UGREEN and have found their customer support to be good too. If I were spending my own money I'd honestly likely opt for a name I trust. This one seems like a good choice to me. It performs as it claims to, is built quite well and comes from a manufacturer that tends to sell stuff that works.

This Bluetooth transmitter/receiver is easy to pair and maintains a stable connection, whether used with Bluetooth headphones or plugged into a hi-fi system. The controls are simple, and while it comes with a brief manual. it's easy to use without it. The device can pair with two devices at once. The sound quality is good, though it doesn't supports all codecs, and the range is typical for decent Bluetooth devices. UGRREEN makes this well-constructed dongle that connects via an AUX port for streaming sound. It can transmit or receive signals, featuring an 18-hour battery life and using Bluetooth 5. 4. It has a dual connection feature which allows for pairing with multiple devices, making it versatile. Overall, I love the performance and high-quality sound. It is worth recommending it.

This little bluetooth transmitter/receiver has a good quality feel to it, certainly above all the generic unbranded versions around. I found it easy to pair and works well with a stable connection both as a transmitter paired to some bluetooth headphones, and as a receiver plugged into a hifi.

The only minor improvement would be if the little cable was removable so you could plug your own longer cable directly into it. As it is if you need a longer cable you will probably have to purchase an extension cable with a female 3.5mm jack socket at one end.

Priced at £19.99 (with voucher) this is good value.

I am using this transmitter to listen to my television from across the room as its Bluetooth function only works in Android mode. It is truly brilliant and I was overjoyed to discover it and find that it worked well.

It was very tricky to get it to pair as pressing and holding the button for the 3 seconds stated on the quick-start card switched the unit on and off instead of putting it into pairing mode. Patience and persistence were required. The sound from the television came through my headphones as soon as the connection was established and was as rich as expected.

The big issue with the unit is that the lead is so short that it becomes difficult to recharge it because I'll need to pull the television forward to reach it. This is not sustainable in the long run because the television is heavy. I'll have to see whether I can find one with a longer lead, or an extension of some sort, provided this won't diminish the transmission or sound quality.

The single toggle on the side of the unit marked RX and TX indicates whether it's in receiving mode RX to play music to a stereo or your car. This mode supports 2 audio sources or 2 phones. TX indicates transmitter mode so you are able to plug the 3.5mm headphone jack into any audio source (airplane entertainment system, Nintendo Switch, etc) and broadcast it's audio out to two pairs of bluetooth headphones.

I am a big fan of how portable, and minimalistic this product is. My wife and I will be bringing this little gadget on all of our future flights.
