I got this as working in IT, you are usually having to cram your arm into a wall or trying to find a connection to a specific port in the dark. This light is the perfect thing for these tight jobs.

The torch itself is mostly made out of metal. The unit has two lights which are super bright. It has a light on the side for lighting up large spaces and a torch at the end for a spotlight style light. Both of these illuminated really brightly!

The unit is USB-C charged which is super convenient. I am still on my first charge but had no issues with the lights dimming as power goes down.

The unit is the size of a pen which makes it super portable, fitting in a top pocket. It's also pretty light which makes adding it to a kit bag, no problem.

Overall, this unit is just super handy. The light is bright, it's very portable and for the price is something I can highly recommend in someone's kit bag! 5/5!

This is a very light, and surprisingly powerful combine pen torch and work light. They state the button on the top goes through dim, bright, torch and off. I'd say it starts with bright, and gets bright and possibly a wider angle but that's probably just that you notice the peripheral light more at the even higher brightness setting. Put it this way, on dim, you don't want to look at it head on.

There is a magnet built into the pen clip, but since it's on the rear of the clip, it's not all that powerful because the plastic distances it from the surface. That's an odd choice as on the other side they could have used a smaller magnet or got better attraction.

You can spin the clip as it grips around a groove at the top of the pen. That means you can angle the COB work light through 360 degrees - although some of that is blocked by the pen clip itself so that would be a weird thing to do. Still, if it's on a whiteboard or shelf, you could point it fully to the right, or the left which is a useful and not obvious feature as you definitely don't want it pointed at directly at you.

It charges by USB C and obeys the full standard meaning you can use a Type C to Type C charging cable which is important - poorly made devices only work with a Type A to Type C cable meaning you're restricted to carrying a legacy cable and port to charge it. The bright shiny future is not having those at all for anything but mice and keyboards.

This is a great torch for inspection and work purposes and would double up easily for a walk at night, although it's not ideal for that given the form factor. Since it's smaller than most whiteboard markers, it's going to fit easily in your shirt pocket, tech pouch or laptop bag.

This is a good inspection light, about the size of a fat fountain pen. It provides three modes, a light projecting from the bottom end, and two levels of light from the COB light on the side. You cycle through all these using the button on the top, fourth click turns off again, although if it's been in a mode for a few seconds the next press will turn off so you don't have to cycle through everything to turn off.

It has a pocket clip, which is also magnetic and strong enough to stick to metal surfaces. It is charged via a USB C port under a rubber flap, and a USB A to USB C cable is included.
