The Baffect Small Flower Vase With Acrylic Ripple Picture Frame comes very well and professionally packaged ensuring that it arrives in perfect condition.
It comes in a branded box inside an extra plain outer box. Inside, the contents are sandwiched between polystyrene and the whole thing is cellophane wrapped. Due to how professionally packed it is, and the overall good quality of the product in general, it makes it very suitable for gifting (as long as the recipient can put it up of course).
It can either be attached to the wall with self-adhesive pads or nail pads, and both are supplied along with fitting instructions. Due to prior experience with self-adhesive pads with other products, I would strongly recommend using the nail pads if possible.
I haven't got it up on the wall yet as we are in the process of decorating, which is taking longer than planned. I have however mocked it up on the kitchen worktop to show what it looks like and attached a photo to this review just to give an idea.
I'm not altogether convinced that it looks like a painting if I'm being completely honest, however, it does look attractive and unusual. It can be used with both fresh and artificial flowers, but in all honesty I think artificial would work better as it would be a bit of a faff cleaning the vase and changing fresh flowers every week, unless you do happen to have time on your hands (I don't unfortunately). That said, one could still change the artificial flowers from time to time depending on season and mood. Please note, no flowers are included, you must supply your own.
In summary, this is a well-made product, that comes well packaged and looks very attractive and unusual. For a price point (at the time of this review) of £19.97 with the option to tick a box to redeem a 10% discount at checkout, I think this is very good value for money for what it is, especially as the flowers can be changed if desired to create different looks. I'm really looking forward to putting this up once our decorating is finished.
