The cable received a nice soft rubber cable three metres long with a USB “B” connection one end and a USB “C” and lightning connector the other, all the connections have aluminium casings with gold plated connectors.
We are told this cable capable of connecting via OTG to a variety of musical instruments and printers with a USB “B” connection, unfortunately by not reading the advertising in it’s entirety I now find this cable not suitable for mobile phone connection to printers by USB “C” or lightning cable.
To quote the advertising “ Please Note: 1. Two ports cannot work at the same time . 2. This cable doesn't support connect printer to your phone.”
Yet the advertising printed picture clearly shows two mobile phones connected to a printer.
I can see similar cables on غ that do allow connection to printers from mobile phones, this the only reason for obtaining this particular cable, it is a shame that nice quality cable has less operating ability than other lower priced cables but the fault entirely my own for not reading the last but one line of the advertising whilst distracted by the pictured advertising.
Unfortunately I am now unable to offer an opinion on this cable’s operating ability as my laptop does not have USB “C” connection whilst my Huawei phone does and will not work with my Canon printer via this cable whilst WiFi does.
