When it arrived I was pretty surprised by how small it is, but reassured by the weight. I have mine on top of a tall bookcase in my living room, walls are approx 18" thick. I was worried that it might struggle, but it's picked up all the available Freeview channels, including HD ones. Cable length is more than ample, and pretty thin so could be run unobtrusively. One caveat: it requires USB power and I'd estimate the distance between the aerial socket on your TV and the USB socket you'll plug it into need to be less than 50cm apart (see photo). However, unless you have very specific requirements or are in a weak transmission area, I'd thoroughly recommend this aerial and I'd suggest you can be confident it'll will do exactly what you want it to.
