  Wood/ metal version quickly developed a blunt section at the most used part when cutting up a pallet for firewood; approximately 21x 10cm cuts. I've had better but I've had far worse. Blunted blades still work but then require force applied to progress which isn't great for the saw body etc.
  Not sure I read the depth/hardness cut for the metal but absolutely couldn't put a cut in 7mm steel plate on boat gunwale LOL... gave a nice scratch though. Blade was flat in approx 5s. Swapped out for disc cutter. Probably states somewhere what it can cut, I tried it as I had saw at hand so was probably a big 'ask'. Read the instructions.
