  I've been using root it sponges for ages because they are so much cheaper than these. Recently though the root it sponges are turning up split and crumbling so thought I'd try these. They are spot on, sturdy and the hole is much smaller than root it which means the cuttings and seeds are more stable, 100% success rate so far using these
