  I tried to invent something just like this for myself about 20 years ago when I have a lovely blouse that just sat too close to the underarm and was a fabric that showed the tiniest sweat patch after only a few minutes. I ended up sewing some handmade pads into the shirt.
  
  These are actually a really good solution. As they’re fitted to what is almost a cropped top, they don’t slide around. The nude colour is invisible under pretty much everything and the fabric is so thin it doesn’t create any bulk. The pads that sit under the armpit are enough to soak any sweat in so it doesn’t mark your top (for example, satin shirts are notorious for marking badly) but not so thick that they are noticeable.
  
  Obviously these are going to need regular washing as they are the frontline for all the sweat, but they are very quick to dry.
  I think with reated use there might be the potential for them to stain, but at the price, they could be replaced once every couple of years.
