  Bought the set with 10 plugs. Every plug failed on pin 3. Now have to go out and buy more plugs and return this tool as obviously a fault with them.

  It appears not to have been the crimpers at fault at all. Despite checking the wall socket before I installed the cable, thepin3 error was actually on that socket not anything to do with the crimpers or supplied plugs RJ45.
  
  So it is an updated 5 stars for both crimpers and RJ45's.
