  A very simple device to do a simple job. It’s a completely passive device so it doesn’t require a power supply. This does mean that there’s no amplification of the audio signal – the volume control just acts to reduce the signal amplitude from the input level. This is fine for switching line-level or headphone-level signals.
  
  Construction feels robust, and the volume control is smooth and scratch-free.
