  I bought these specifically to stand on top of a worktop - and I'm very pleased with them. If you're looking for something floor-standing you might want something a little taller or a little larger overall.
  Other than that observation I think these shelves are great value for money. They were quick and easy to assemble, the shelves can be set to a variety of heights (anywhere there is a ridge on the uprights is a possible shelf position), and a thoughtful touch is the inclusion of a couple of spare plastic shelf brackets. The construction looks sturdy and the finish is fine. Recommended buy.
