  So first impressions. I bought this unit to replace a 20yr old unit that had failed. I knew what was wrong with it but last time I played around with large capacitors it didn’t end well :) so decided to replace. This unit is half the size and has a larger BTU rating. Easy to set up and has the advantage of a remote. For the price it is quite incredible, Ice cold and very low noise especially when running on a low setting. Also you don’t hear the compressor kicking in and out? My old unit you could. My only criticism is the exhaust hose but it is a common problem with all it keeps popping out at the back of the unit. But some simple bonding should resolve that. All in all a fantastic unit for the price, bring on the heatwave so I can gloat with friends :)
