Whilst it does indeed moisturise the skin, the lack of absorbing into the skin makes for an unpleasant sticky face, which also transfers onto your pillow, and the same stickiness remains by morning, I couldn't wait to wash my face in the morning!
I love revolution products so was determined to give it a proper go. I agree with others that the smell and consistency is somewhat unpleasant. To try to do something about the smell, I added in a few drops of essential oil (lavender) which helped massively, and following the stirring in of lavender oil, even slightly changed the consistency to a smoother application rather than the weird slick and almost gelatinous feel, and bonus definitely helped cover the weird smell.
I continued for a few more nights, but getting sick of having to tie my hair back to prevent my hair constantly sticking to my face. The last straw was when I felt a couple of spots coming up, concluding that this product is just too oily.
I've resorted to using this as a hand cream as my hands get very dry, and it's ok for that, but again, I still have the awful stickiness to contend with.
I won't be buying it again, that's for sure.
