  I like this cable stripper very much. I use it on common flex cables, CY cables, YY cables and SY cables. It works very well with going through the insulation. I would recommend doing a test run on a scrap piece or on the end of the cable you are stripping before committing, just to make sure that you have the stripper set correctly not to go through the inner wires insulation, but it's a very useful tool. I find the wire stripper end useful as you don't need to swap and change tools as often as it works just as well as normal wire strippers.
  
  I have never tried using it on the outer sheath of armoured cables, but I wouldn't recommend it as I think the blade would break on the armourings if you set it too deep. But overall, I think it's an excellent piece of kit if used properly.
