I have used Sensodyne toothpastes for a few months now. I was encouraged by a former dentist to use Oral B toothpaste however I didn’t feel my mouth was clean, the toothpaste wasn’t as strong in the taste department.
I got my dentist switched as he left and went elsewhere, and decided to have my teeth deep cleaned. I explained about wanting a good toothpaste and also one for sensitive teeth and a decent flavour. He told me any of the Pro enamel range are the good ones. Toothpaste, well some at least are prone to remove enamel because of the baking soda in them, yes make teeth whiter, but are not kind to teeth, then there is the added pressure of teeth chipping.
I have been using pro enamel for a while, this one was on offer so decided to buy as it was here the next day, and cheaper than my local supermarket. Cleans really well and I use my water flosser with it, so a double whammy, my teeth do shine, and look and feel so much better.
White teeth as we all know if real are not classed as healthy teeth, the opposite in fact according to the dentists. This toothpaste will do its job to the capabilities of how your teeth have been looked after. To simplify, if you haven’t brushed your teeth for two weeks, ie at an open air gig or something, use this toothpaste and you will notice they look whiter after a few cleans. If using all the time, and twice a day, your teeth will remain the same, because these are your real teeth, and can only go as clean as they can. All this nonsense wanting teeth to be white is a fallacy, it won’t happen unless you use harsher products which in the long run will desimate your natural teeth.
This toothpaste I feel is one of the best I have used, especially having sensitive teeth which for most comes with age unfortunately. I haven’t had any odours using, the taste is lovely and decent, maybe too strong for some, but I do enjoy a stronger taste, that stays for hours.
This toothpaste comes in a 75ml tube. The tube is nice to hold, quite soft and the cap is excellent.
There are so many different toothpastes on the market, and different versions of Sensodyne. I cannot use normal Sensodyne because strange as it seems, makes my teeth more sensitive, weird right? But this Pro enamel range is really good, no abrasives and super clean, healthily teeth. I will be buying once a month now I have found a good one.
