  I have only just received these but they seem quite robust - pity they only seem to come in the 1m length, I was really looking for retractable 2m length. However they do seem fine and can be used for charging and data transfer and seem to work fine for both..The cable retracts completetly (with only the USB A and USB C plugs protruding from the hub), nice!...Not much more I can say..
