  This is not the cheapest passive cool box, but the design of the (injection moulded polystyrene) insulation makes it potentially much better than most passive cool boxes of similar size (which use poorly fitted thin sheets of polystyrene). The construction of the box itself is similar to others. There is also a seal around the top where the lid sits which may help a little with keeping contents cool, but it does mean a little downward pressure is needed to be able to lift the handle for carrying. Fail to push the top down before lifting the handle and you risk breaking the handle at its 'hinge'. Heavily loaded, the handle feels as though it might break if held only in the middle. Ceratinly a step up from the rubbishy coolboxes being sold elwewhere, but with some small improvements could be even better.
