  The BENFEI USB C hub does exactly what you'd expect, it plugs in to a computer USB-C port and gives you four more USB ports, 2x USB-C and 2x USB-A. All the ports are capable of 10Gbps data transfer (USB 3.2). I connected this to a MacBook M3 Pro and it makes it easier and efficient to connect multiple peripherals by plugging a single cable in to my laptop. There's no setup or drivers required it's truly plug and play. I have tested with a fast NVMe SSD drive and can certainly attain data transfers in line with the expected 10Gbps rate.
  
  In common with other BENFEI products I have selected in the past this one is well made. There's a nice metallic shell to the adapter, and a braided sleeve surrounds the 20cm long permanently attached cable. The dark gray finish looks great and seems to be rather scratch resistant too. There's even a soft white bag to keep it in if you wish.
