  Holds firm on curved, solid surfaces like bike helmets (note that when I say solid I mean anything like a helmet without vented openings in it). I went mountain biking using this mount with my GoPro Hero 11 in it and it held firmly in place with no issues.
  
  I've used similar mounts in the past and, like the instructions for this mount say, it is best to let the mount settle for around 24 hours before actually using it with a GoPro in place: it gives the best chance of the adhesive holding strong for longer.
