Perfect for multitasking, the Obllem USC-C Hub 7-in-1 is small and easy to travel. It provides MacBooks and other USB-C gadgets with three USB 3.0 ports, an SD/TF card reader, and 100W PD charging. Supporting 4K@60, the HDMI port allows for perfect display mirroring or expansion without any additional adapters. It's fast charging and one-touch screen rest feature help simplicity. If you need a usb-c docking style port for your portable gaming device or laptop, then the this 7 in 1 might be for you. In the box you get the hub, feels like aluminium.

Note that this device is a usb-c connector hub wise, so should work on most new laptops with usb-c ports, or you would need to use an adapter with an usb 3 connector.

This hub supports video output through its hdmi port (4k at 60hz), so you will need a laptop capable of outputting video over usb-c. This is where the dock comes into its own. You get three usb 3.0 ports, usb-c pd 100w power port and transflash card slots for memory card writing/saving.

The output (dependant on your laptop/gaming device) outputs upto 4k, I tested it with 3k and it worked fine, for lower end devices, you can output at 720/1080p if you need to as well. Usb 3 outputs at 5gb. Allows you to connect mice, keyboards and other essential items to the hub.

The hub does support pass thru power up 100w, but the hub will only output around 85-95 watts, so essentially for technical reasons should work fine for anything 65w. Makes a great small portable hub with video for something like the ROG Ally or a tablet with no usb-c, which makes the hub very portable and very useable for on the go tablet/laptop/gaming devices.

Pros: 3x usb3 ports, hdmi, transflash card slots, pass through power up to 95w, good for travel.
Cons: Need a supported usb-c port with video out to work for hdmi output.

This dock has a good selection of ports; a bunch of usb ports, high wattage power delivery, SD cards and a HDMI.

The USB ports are good, seem to be getting 3.0 speeds on most things, and three is a good number for a mouse and keyboard an a spare.

The HDMI is fine, 4k@60 is good enough for most people, and I wouldn't expect higher framerates or resolutions from something at this price point or without displayport.

No complaints.

I appreciate the variety of ports this hub offers—HDMI for connecting to a monitor, USB 3.0 for fast file transfers, and SD/TF slots for easy access to photos and videos.

I was working on a project and needed to transfer files from my camera’s SD card while also using an external hard drive. The hub made it simple to do both without switching cables or ports. The HDMI port also came in handy when I wanted to mirror my laptop screen to a bigger display.

The large power delivery feature is another plus. It charges my laptop while I use the hub, which saves me from juggling multiple adapters.

The compact design is perfect for carrying around. It fits neatly into my laptop bag without taking up much space. I’ve also noticed that the hub stays cool even after extended use, which is reassuring.

If you need a reliable and functional way to expand your laptop’s connectivity options, this USB C hub is a good pick. It keeps everything organized and makes working with multiple devices a lot smoother.

In a nutshell this is a great little metal hub with a USB connector that acts as a hub for laptops, PCs and also phones and tablets. this allows you to connect up to 3 USB 3.0 (or older USB 2.0) connectors, a USB C PD cable allowing up to 100 watts pass through, an HDMI that supports 4K and an SD and Micro SD card.

If you have a modern laptop or Mac book this is a super useful hub for connecting wired peripherals and devices (like Camera kit, optical drives, keyboards, mice and external hard drives or USB sticks)

It is however not just good for laptops. If you have Android devices or iPads and modern USB C iPhones it is also compact enough to use on these and can replace other accessories that you might use.

Here are some of the scenarios I have tried with it.

Screen mirroring my iPad Pro to an external monitor via HDMI
Screen mirroring my Pixel Pro 9 XL to a monitor via HDMI
⭐️Screen mirroring an iPhone 15 Pro max to the monitor via HDMI
Accessing USB Drive and SD Cards via Android
Accessing SD Cards to upload photos to iPad and iPhone
Charging the Pixel via pass through (whilst displaying and accessing SD cards)

There are plenty of things that I didn’t try but the point above is that the device is versatile, pocketable and will work across a number of your devices. Noting that the Apples USB-C to SD Card reader retails at £39 alone this device at less than 50% of that will do this and a whole lot more.

Note that when you are using this to output to an external screen there is a button which can turn the screen on and off which is handy

One thing I did notice is that the pass through power didn’t work so well on these iPad and iPhone. It either trickle charged or wouldn’t charge at all. I tried this with a 30 watt and a 65 watt power pack and it other charged at a low wattage or wouldn’t charge at all. I have a cable that measures throughput (see photo) and I noticed that the PD indicator did not light up when using this device with the iPad.This is not a game changer for me.

All in all a compact multi-purpose device for multiple devices at less than £20. What’s not to like?
