    Brilliant!!
    Excellent charger that I bought for my new lithium battery! Very happy with it! I bout the extension cable to go with it but to be honest I don’t think it’s needed (it’s long enough!). Would recommend this charger to anyone, on the higher end in terms of cost but well worth it!

Excellent value for money as replacement battery would have cost more. Lightweight, easy to lug around. Generally straightforward to use in my view although the instructions weren’t very clear (you might not need anyway if you’re a cowboy). 10,000 stars.

      I needed to buy a new battery charger after my very old one packed up.
      After a lot of searching and review reading I settled for the NOCO Genius 5. I’ve got to say, it’s a game changer in terms of quality and ease of use. They say you can’t judge a book by its cover but I think everyone will agree that a products packaging tells you a lot about what might be inside the box; inside the outer ÍøÆغÚÁÏ box was a brown cardboard box with the NOCO logo on and then inside that was the very smartly designed NOCO Genius box sealed in cellophane with very clear pictures and labelling as to what is inside. Open the box and it slides apart to reveal the charger with all of the associated cables and instructions all held in place with 2 protective foam inserts. The charger is well designed and well made the cables all feel top quality and the crocodile clips are large and solid and made from what appears to be copper, all connections are sheathed and or heat sealed. First used to final charge and then maintain a 120Ah caravan leisure battery. On my meter it showed 12.2v so I connected the NOCO, the 25% charge light came on, then after 10 seconds or so the 50% light, followed 10 seconds later by the 75% light and finally after a slightly longer time, the green fully charged light which then after a while starts to slowly pulse to show that it’s now in maintenance mode.
      A brilliantly designed, very well made and easy to use piece of kit.

      I bought this NOCO battery charger to replace an ageing battery charger, and I needed a charger that would be suitable for the newer AGM/ Stop start batteries.

      Initially I had been given advice to purchase a well known competitor to the NOCO, but as I already own, and highly rate the NOCO jump starter/booster pack, I decided that I would stick with the brand.

      From the moment you open the box, it's clear to see that NOCO take time and effort to design and manufacture their products. The products are so well made, which make it a refreshing change from all of the usual cheaply produced rubbish that you see.

      The charger is a sturdy bit of kit and feels it. The battery lead come in two pieces - which is a brilliant idea. It makes it so much easier to attach the battery clamps to the battery, without worrying about the charger banging around behind. Especially as is often the case these days, the batteries can often be buried in the car somewhere. Talking of the battery clamps, they are a perfect size, not too big or too small, and the clamping pressure is spot on.

      The other advantage of the lead being in two is that you could permanently attach the clamp end to your battery terminals (obviously using the ring terminals instead of the clamps) and then leave the lead permanently attached to the car. It's simply a case then of attaching the other end (with the charger attached) to the lead - perfect if you want to regularly top up your battery. The end you leave on the car has a well made cover that simply attaches over the end and keeps it clean and dry, and the connection between the two leads is well constructed.

      On to the charger. It's so easy to use. Connect it all up to the battery and turn the mains on. The charger instantly goes on to standby, something that most battery chargers don't do, and I for one think it's an excellent safety feature. Simply press the button to select your battery type and leave it to do its job - it's that simple. The led's are nice and bright and show clearly the charging process of the battery.
