August DTA180 Portable HDTV Freeview Aerial - Receive Great Signal
Standard IEC/PAL Connector
The DTA180 aerial has a standard coaxial IEC/PAL connector. This connection makes the device compatible a huge range of receivers such as set top boxes, TV sets, USB TV Tuners and adapters. Not only will the DTA180 fit these devices, but provide Digital TV reception worldwide.
When you go abroad you can use this aerial to receive local channels on your digitally tuned devices.
Mini Lightweight TV Aerial
Put the DTA180 in a motorhome, campervan, fishing boat, everyday car or camping set to ensure that you always have access to DVB-T and DVB-T2 signal for your portable TVs. The base measures just 3x3cm and will not intrude on your current baggage. The unit weighs only 31 Grams.
The DTA180 is a self-sufficient TV aerial compatible with most TV sets, USB TV Tuners (For laptops and computers), Set-Top-Boxes and Portable TVs. Give full HD TV signal to rooms that don’t have an antenna port since the DTA180 works entirely unpowered (No batteries required) and without a connection to a home aerial or mains outlet.
Magnetic Base Signal Amplification
The DTA180 features a magnetic base that allows you to attach the aerial to convenient surfaces when travelling or at home. The magnetic base also acts as a reception booster. Attach the DTA180 to a larger magnetic object and receive better signal! Snap onto Metal Rules, Biscuit Tins, Tent Pegs, Truck Metalwork, Lap-trays and more for increased reception.
Digital Entertainment Aerial
The DTA180 is optimised for digital entertainment. Providing Freeview and Freeview HD channel signal alongside being a DAB Radio portable antenna, too. Scan frequencies VHF 170-230Mhz and UHF 470-860MHz to store the full range of digital TV available wherever you happen to be.
Please note:
Please note that reception quality is dependent on geographical factors. Your distance to the nearest regional transmitter, thick walls, large energy-consumption and some appliances (Fridges, Ovens, Air-Conditioning etc) will all affect the capacity of an aerial. It is advised you perform a channel scan with a powerful home aerial before switching to the DTA180 for future use. Please ensure your DTA180 is attached properly via the provided cable and is in contact with a magnetic object for best results. If problems persist, some TVs and Set-Top-Boxes have integrated antenna boosters which you can enable.
