These are excellent connectors. I used them to replace old existing connectors on old external CAT6 cable I have run from my router downstairs to an Ethernet switch I have located in a cupboard upstairs. I have recently upgraded my home router to one that has next gen 2.5GB ports. I have upgraded my Ethernet switches on my home network to high performance 2.5GB gaming switches as well. The 2.5GB ports LEDs glow blue when they have a 2.5GB connection on that port. As the switch port connected directly to my router via external old CAT6 cable fitted with these Cat 6A connectors glows blue this indicates that they support 2.5GB networks. They are expensive but were easy to fit and clearly good quality so I couldn¡¯t be happier.
