1. Why does the battery drain so quickly?

When the Settings selection screen is always on, both the screen and MCU are working, so it is normal that the battery drains quickly. It uses 15% of the battery in about 24 hours. We recommend turning off the display screen when not in use.

2. Why is "Screen Time", "Battery Cycle", "Total Input", and "Total Output" not showing "0" on the display?

To ensure the quality of the product, rigorous tests were conducted. The values recorded during the production and testing process were:

(a) "Battery Cycle" should be 0 and "Battery Health" should be 100%.

(b) Other information should not be 0.

3. Why can't the power reach 140W?

To reach 140W, you need to use a cable that supports PD 3.1 and a device that supports PD 3.1 input such as the 2021 MacBook Pro 16".

4. Why does USB-A port show 0.1W output when the power bank is not connected to any device?

Even if the device is unplugged when charging with USB-A, it will continue to output a small current to prevent the device from being fully charged, and it will last for about 2 minutes. In trickle-charging mode, the output of USB-A is 0.1W.

Good for my Go

Good for my Go
I’ve been using the Anker 737 Power Bank mainly with my Legion Go, and while it has some great features, there are a few trade-offs. Here’s my honest take:Build and DesignThe build quality is excellent—this power bank feels super sturdy and looks sleek. The digital display is one of my favorite parts (check out the photos). It shows the battery percentage, charging speeds, and lets you toggle features like auto-screen off. It’s really convenient compared to the usual blinking lights on other power banks.Performance and CapacityHere’s where things get a bit tricky. While the 24,000mAh capacity sounds huge, powering my Legion Go drains it surprisingly fast. After about an hour of gaming, the power bank needs to be recharged, which was a bit disappointing given its specs. However, not surprising. Your results with vary depemding upon the power profile selected on your handhld. That all said, it does charge my Legion Go quickly while in use, so it’s still super handy if I’m gaming on the go and don’t have access to an outlet. Run time increases while using my viture xr glasses, so like there's many variables to consider. However you'd get maximum 1.5 hours , all things optimal. It also works well for phones and other smaller devices, and the two USB-C ports plus the USB-A port are a nice touch for charging multiple gadgets at once.Everyday UseI carry this power bank in my Tomtoc bag alongside my Legion Go and a few other accessories. It fits perfectly and keeps my setup organized. The weight does add some bulk to the bag, but for me, the convenience makes it worth it.What I LikeDigital Display: Shows real-time info like charging speed and battery percentage.Fast Charging: Charges my Legion Go almost as fast as the original adapter.Build Quality: Feels durable and premium.Good for Multiple Devices: Works great for phones, earbuds, and tablets. What Could Be BetterDrains Fast with Gaming: It only lasts about an hour as i said, when powering my Legion Go during gaming, which means I have to recharge the power bank sooner than I expected. Not Lightweight: It’s a bit heavy, but that’s to be expected for a power bank with this much output.Final ThoughtsThis power bank is a mixed bag. It’s amazing for quick charging and keeping multiple devices powered, but if you’re planning to use it heavily with something like the Legion Go, don’t expect it to last all day. That said, it’s still super convenient for travel and fits well in my Tomtoc bag. If you need a powerful charger to extend tour gaming time on your handheld or other uses, it’s still a solid choice. Please note that I have only tested this on the Legion go and no other handhelds so csnt say about those.

This is a longer term review as I have owned the unit for some months now and I have to say it is excellent. First off, the build quality and design are excellent. It feels very well constructed and solid in appearance. Yes, it is a little weighty, but given the power reserve on offer here it has to be.

It charges relatively quickly with the right power input coming in and the screen showing the progression of charge and time remaining is very useful. It has shown me how different chargers and leads vary on the power they feed and this in itself has become invaluable.

I have a macbook pro 16 as well as tablets, phones and other devices in the house. This unit charges them all with ease and very very quickly. It is very comforting to know I can travel with this and know I can recharge just about anything with a USB socket over and over.

I cannot recommend it highly enough. Yes it is a little expensive, but quality always has a price, and this is very well worth it.

I bought this so I don’t have to bother bringing plugs with me on a weekend away. It is perfect for charging my phone 2 or 3 times, my headphones etc.

Wouldn’t manage to also support a MacBook or a large iPad unless it’s just for them only.

Great quality, the overall capacity of the battery is great given its size and how well made it is.

    Great product from anker!

I recently purchased the Anker 737 power bank, and it has been an absolute game-changer for my tech needs. With a massive 24,000mAh capacity, this portable charger has become my go-to device for keeping my gadgets charged throughout the day.

High-Speed Charging: The 140W output is phenomenal, providing rapid charging for my devices that can accept it. It’s incredibly efficient, taking my phone from zero to full in no time. Charging the power bank itself is also the fastest I've seen with less than 2 hours to full.

Versatility: The three ports are a lifesaver, allowing me to charge multiple devices simultaneously. Whether it’s my phone, tablet, camera gear, drone etc. it handles all with ease.

Portability: Despite its high capacity, the power bank is surprisingly lightweight and compact, making it perfect for travel.

Smart Digital Display: Although a bit of a gimmick, the digital display is a neat feature that shows me exactly how much power is left and the charging status and power delivered to my devices.

I'd say this is a reliable, high-capacity charger that’s perfect for anyone on the go. It’s an investment I’m glad I made, and I highly recommend it.

I don't normally review things but I rate this product very highly! Having lived with it for a bit I've found that:

    - It can charge my Macbook Air 2021 to from 0 to 100% in about 65% of capacity so probably higher than advertised 1.2 laptop charges, more like 1.4 on these M1 Macs.

    - You could probably do a week of charging for a normal Smartphone off one 100% battery charge.

    - I have a Steamdeck and it's able to give me about 4.5 hours playtime depending on what I'm running.

    - It "rapid charges" every device I've tried - Macbook, OnePlus 7 Pro, iPhone 13, Google Pixel 7 Pro, Steamdeck.

    - The little screen on it seems like a gimmick but has proved to be very useful and unobtrusive. It's useful to see how much battery is left, what rate devices are charging at etc. Really useful.

    - It's noticeably heavy in the hand so I was a bit worried about travelling, but in a backpack I have to say I barely notice it and it's been more useful than carrying around some of my other packs because it rapid charges and I don't have to leave my smartphone in my bag so it can trickle charge for hours.

    - Build quality is A++ - it's a really nice finish, well built, looks nice if you actually care what your battery pack looks like!

    - Comes with a short USB-C - USB-C charging cable (about 6" long) and a little cotton carry bag. I would personally get some high capacity, longer charging cables. I bought some rated for 100W which it can deliver although highest I've managed to find is a 40W draw off the Mac.

A few things to note before buying:

    - There's no charger boxed in so you will need a 40w USB-C charger to charge it at highest rate - most modern smartphones or laptops will have one rated that high. It will not charge off low power USB-C connections, e.g. the hub in my Dell Monitor (which my MacBook Air will charge off), so you may want to factor this into your purchase.

    - It is a more expensive device relative to others but I think if you travel a lot and you need the capacity this is an excellent device. They have not skimped on the quality and it is now part of my daily carry.

    - The quoted "120W" charging is an aggregate of all 3 ports (1xUSB-3.1, 2xUSB-C) at full rate. So for example you could charge a laptop, a smartphone and a camera all at once, all at full power (I think. I can't say I've ever tried to do this!). You can't plug a kettle into it ;)

    Thanks.

Reviewed in Canada on 26 November 2024
I have had Anker power banks for years. They're great for charging up my phone & other devices on the go. But I realized that the smaller ones that I have won't charge my laptop. I was happy to see that Anker had a larger power bank to solve this issue.

Let me be clear, it is a heavy power bank. But it charges my Surface, my Dell laptop & my iPad without any issues. This will be a great thing for travel. I also love that there is a protective case available for it so I can protect it when it's in my knapsack when I'm traveling.

love the digital display that tells you not only what level it's at. But it also shows how fast it's charging up or discharging to charge up a device. It does take awhile to change up but not as long as I thought it would. Overnight, it went from 24% to 80%. If I use a faster charger (like the USB C one I use to charge my laptop) then it's going to charge up faster as well.

As with all Anker products, I expect it to last quite awhile. This is definitely a great purchase of you want to charge up things like laptops that are often power hogs.

This charger is heavier than it looks, so maybe for some people it might not be as convenient. I have no issue with it. It's not in my pocket. That was my 'negative' for this product. Now to the good stuff. Oh it didn't come with a charger but it comes with a charging cable rated at 140W to match the power bank max output and input charging. I don't own any of those Apple products but I did charge someone's Iphone with it with their cord, so I know it can charge Iphones if anyone is wondering. I really bought it thinking it would charge my son's laptop but it can't the port on his laptop doesn't allow charging, just data transfer. It's a gaming laptop, so even the Wattage was sufficient, there was no way to charge it with this device. It does charge a laptop I have here that has the port that allows it, as quickly as the laptop charger (that only outputs 45W) and yes the digital screen on the power bank shows it is outputting 45W to it. It will fluctuate between 42 to 46W but I think this is normal. When the laptop (or any other device connected to it) is fully charged, it will stop. I should check to see if it will start to charge again if I start using the device connected to it. It probably will though, this device kinda smart to check these things. It also allows you to charge devices while being charged. Maybe that is the new standard but not much power banks did that before, so the fact that this one does it pretty cool. Back to the screen. It displays some nice information. It will give you an estimate how long the connected device will take to reach 100% in real time. It also does this when you are charging the bank itself. It tells you how long it will take for it to be fully charged. Yes it can do it simultaneously. So it can tell you how it will take to reach 100% and tell you how long devices connected will take to reach 100%. While being charged, you can only charge two devices (USB A and USB C) because one of the ports (the main USB C) is both input and output. When it not being charged, it can charge 3 devices at the same time. Remember thought that device output 140W max so it will adjust accordingly. I am able to charge my laptop (the 45W one), my Samsung phone and some Bluetooth ear plugs (or another phone) all at once and it won't even run down the power bank. I don't use it daily, so I haven't needed it to charge it too often but it doesn't take long to charge. I honestly much check how long but I haven't needed more than an hour so far. I haven't run it down too low either, lowest being 15%. Off course it will take longer to charge if you are charging devices at the same time, although I haven't done so as it yet. Another thing I need to check.
Now the questions people make ask.... tldr
Is it worth this price? I paid 90 something for it, so yes worth it for me. Right now it cost $109.99, so still worth it for me. Now for the List Price of $149.99, I wasn't buying it at that price.
Does it do what it states in the description section? Yes it does and then some. Everything is states it does is accurate.
Will I buy it again? This will last for quite a while for me so hopefully I won't have to replace it soon. I am hoping by the time I will need to replace this that Anker will have upgraded this to something more powerful or more wattage ( they do have that presently) for a similar price or according to cost of living if you know what I mean.
Do I recommend this? TOTALLY worth it at the prices I mentioned. I didn't say it in the review but because the smart charging with it, your devices are safe from overcharging and so on. Yes I trust my devices with this power bank more than the chargers that come with them.
    Hope this review was helpful.

5.0 out of 5 stars Die ultimative Powerbank für unterwegs!
Reviewed in Germany on 5 December 2024

    ---

    **Anschlüsse: Alles, was man braucht**
