Why is my power bank providing fewer charges than expected?
Energy loss during charging due to inefficiencies in battery cells and circuitry results in a 30% to 45% capacity reduction. A fully charged Anker 25,000mAh power bank typically delivers about 13,750 to 17,500mAh.
-
How can I estimate the number of charges for my device?
To estimate the number of charges, use this formula: (Power Bank Total Capacity × 0.65) ÷ Device Battery Capacity. For example, a device with a 3,349mAh battery can receive approximately 4.8 charges from a 25,000mAh power bank.
-
Does it support pass-through charging?
Yes, the power bank supports pass-through charging. However, it requires a charger rated at 20W or higher, and the input power must exceed the output power to enable this feature.
-
Is it normal for the power bank to display ""No Recharging Mode""?
Yes, this is normal. When the power bank discharges at high power, its temperature increases. For safety, the protection mechanism temporarily delays recharging until the temperature lowers, but it will continue to discharge during this period.
-
How do I adjust the length of the retractable cable and use the short cable?
Pull the retractable cable to your desired length and tug gently to lock it. To retract, pull slightly and it will retract automatically. For the lanyard, press upward to extend and downward to secure it in place.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 December 2024For whatever reason, the product is not even listed on Anker web page and I had to go trough a chat with them to get additional information. Info they provided was not accurate at all so, for all purpose:
- Yes this power bank has pass trough charge. But it works only if the charge in is more powerful as the out. At first, It didn't work for me but I then plugged it in my mac charger (60W in) and this allowed the pass trough charge to be activated.
- The screen indicates in and out W
- Battery health is available trough screen.
- Both integrated cables work as in and out but the less robust one (the retractable one) allows more out power.
All in all the device is beautiful and works perfectly. I do not understand what it lacks compared to the higher priced models. I'm actually tempted to say that this is the most premium model. The metal allow and screen resist scratches so far.
Voila! I now hope Anker will pay me something for doing the job they failed to do.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 25 November 2024This is my Third Anker Power Bank as I wanted something that would fast charge my S24 at the Super Fast Charging rates my plug does rather than the slower PD Rates. Well this does that and also reports that it uses Super Fast Charging 2.0 (which I didn't know was a thing) but apparently boosts the rate from a max of 30w to 40w.
The screen is a very nice touch showing you the wattage of each ports, battery health and mode and while charging it gives you the charge time and percent in 2 decimal places.
A bonus that isn't listed on غs Spec is Passthough charging so you can charge the device at 100w while it charges it and your device at full whack reducing the number of sockets you need. Annoyingly though when charging multiple devices like this, the output rate for all devices seems to drop to around 7w which is my one gripe with it so far.
It's 90wh and < 27k mah so find for a plane and it's not particularly heavy. No more than any other battery of this capacity anyway. If you find a power bank that's significantly lighter it's probably not 25k ;)

Images in this review - Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 December 2024I had the Anker 737 which is similar in size and capacity, but this one is so much better. The fact that is can stand up, had a bigger display and the integrated USB-C cords is just making this such a good product. The execution of the USB-C cable which can double as a lanyard is just very nicely done. Absolutely can recommend this product.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 November 2024This battery bank weight less than almost any other of its capacity and power and that’s with the two cables built in.
The recoiling cable is tough and would take some very deliberate misrule for it to break. That may change after a few months or a couple of years but for now I’ve no reason to suspect it won’t last.
There are three USB C connections in total (two built in cables and one socket), and a single USB A for older devices. In short it’s super convenient and you can charge up to four things at once.
The screen is brilliant and u like the more expensive Anker Prime power banks, accurate. It’s also significantly cheaper than them too.
It’ll charge phones, laptops, drones and pretty much anything else without hassle.
I’m conscious I sound like an Anker advert so I tried to find something critical to write about it - but in this class of power (165w) and capacity (25,000mah / 90wh) there isn’t anything else that comes close.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 December 2024Looks lovely and I'm sure it will do what it's supposed to do but I do find it odd that it doesn't ship with a mains plug, either UK or universal. Definite oversight on Anker's part. The company probably didn't want to affect the size of the packaging. It was only 18% charged on arrival too.
