I needed a stand for my 2024 Macbook Pro 16 inch. I read all the reviews on all the stands, especially all the 1 star reviews to see what some people were not happy about and to make sure that the reviews were for the product listed for sale.

So after an hour or so researching I thought I would give this Ugreen laptop stand a go. One review said it was too heavy and too stiff to open and close... but similar reviews were on other products but at a larger quantity of them, and to date I've personally been happy with every Ugreen product I had purchased. (It can sometimes feel like pot luck trying to wade through reviews to work out which ones are relevant and which ones are not).

The stand arrived very quickly and to my surprise it is extremely light weight and very easy to open and close (there is some relative stiffness but with both hands free its real easy to open up and close).

It is very sturdy for my 2.1kg laptop, with its case (around 2.3kg). Its easily transportable in my laptop bag. You can type on the laptop and it still holds strong. Nothing wobbles. It has the best arrangement of vents so the laptop can 'breathe'. I work on the road 4 days a week and this is ideal to take around for me.

Really glad I settled on this... so I ordered a second one for my 2019 15" Macbook too. They really do tidy-up your desk space and manage the space you use when working on the road well.

I would have no problem recommending this stand. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

Can be used for anything , I’m using it to put a midi keyboard up a level so I can put my computer keyboard underneath.
The price is about right given that this is on the higher quality end of stands

This is a good looking and sturdy laptop stand. It’s got good portability and you don’t have to worry about it drooping or changing position throughout the day.
My laptop is a 15.6 inch all metal Dell which is quite heavy and this stand it able to hold it at whatever angle I need throughout the day.
There are grippers on the main bit where you put the laptop too so you can lose it at some quite acute angles if you need to.
It’s a bit on the larger size so I wouldn’t recommend you taking this places with you but it’s perfect for a permanent setup at home or if you have a desk/office at work.

You can slap this thing and say it's not going anywhere. In all seriousness though, the hinges are nice and stiff and it feels really sturdy. UGreen makes some good stuff. Just make sure you double check where the vents are on the bottom of your laptop. Unfortunately for me, my vents lined up perfectly with the rubber bits in a way that they blocked the airflow, so I had to return it.
