I was pleased with how easy this was to set up. It needs a mobile app CloudEdge which is easy enough to set up on my Apple device, and which enabled me to add the necessary skill to Alexa. This seems to work well enough without the optional cloud storage subscription, although I'd love to see the included AI which claims to filter out non-human movement (at only £1.19 a month it says).

I recommend reading through the provided set up guide thoroughly before doing anything else, as although all the steps are fairly simple it's better to know than to guess how to set it up right. The doorbell is supplied with a partly charged battery but needs an overnight on a charger to fully charge it.

With the mobile device I can see and respond to the door camera where ever I happen to be. I can also preview the camera view and sound from Alexa within my home network. Night vision mode (monochrome) also works well enough under street lighting. When someone presses the bell push, it lights up blue to acknowledge the contact and plays a message on Alexa speakers and alerts me on the mobile device.

There is also a ringer which runs on 3 AAA batteries and has buttons to allow different ringer and volume settings.

On my own setup my door faces the street so picks up lots of movement by neighbours, cars, etc. Even with the sensitivity turned right down it was triggering every hour or so. I have therefore switched the movement detector off (took a while to find the setting for this!). I'm sure if I had a separate entrance path it would be less prone to false alarms.

Fitting the camera to my plastic door frame was easy - the provided sticky pad has stayed put so far (3 weeks and counting including lots of rain). The battery seems to last well, and is easy enough to recharge though you would have to take the doorbell off its mount to do so (a little screwdriver with a special secure head is provided) and plug in to a USB power source. My battery says it's 80% after 3 weeks, which is around the 3 month recharge the manual claims.

Everything works, though I've found that connecting to the camera from CloudEdge can take a couple of tries before it succeeds.

I recommend this device as good value and works well. I think it works as well as Ring but without requiring a subscription and quite a bit cheaper too.

The Euki Video doorbell is a good door bell great quality pictures, you can use a SD card to extend footage it is very easy to set up and very good night vision on the hole I would say highly recommended. After two months it stopped working so I had to get in touch with Customer Support@euki.cn and was put in touch with Lavender who went above and beyond to sort the issue out and after several messages they have sent a new one out to me so in my mind it was a Excellent first class service and a special thanks to Lavender. The only good thing about this video doorbell is the picture quality, other than that intercom is rubbish, you can barely hear the caller and they can't hear you at all. I can approach the door, unlock, enter, turn off the alarm and walk into another room before the alert tells me it's activated, therefore whoever was at the door has long gone, absolute waste of time. We have tried readjusting sound, microphone, distance etc many times but it's never been any different in operation. Don't waste your money like we did, please.

This was a good price, easy to set up! Picture clear and good quality! Was great at first but have noticed a few annoying flaws.. battery life is poor, will only charge to 60% therfore needs charging once a week! It doesn't cope well with rain or frost, you have to go out and clean the lense. The sound is poor, there are gremlins in the audio! The intercom part doesn't work great either, you can hear your visitor only just and they can't hear you at all.

I contacted customer support and was helped by Emma who was brilliant throughout , through her help I found out it was my Wi-Fi signal strength which was the problem . So , connection made and I cannot stress enough how good the quality of this product is . Picture clarity and quality is outstanding even in night mode , motion sensor is in real time and lots of other features are all great . The angled bracket is an added bonus , if like me , you want the camera facing more towards the door. Brilliant product and customer support . Highly recommended A
