This is ten out of ten for quality, think Japanese rather than Chinese - typical SmallRig.
It all works beautifully but the tiny size comes at a slight cost.
The plate has to be manually secured for every use, which is beautifully simple. Not a problem for many, but I¡¯m used to an auto locking plate - you can see where the problem may occur if your use case is similar to mine.
Full plate release button is probably the worst aspect because it¡¯s so small and a slightly unnatural sideways movement. If you slide in and out this won¡¯t bother you.
This is not for someone looking for a ¡°quick¡± quick release system. This is for someone who wants the convenience of a quick release but not necessarily the speed.
Aa long as you lock the lever and don¡¯t have sausage fingers (this thing is small) you¡¯re good to go and will struggle to find a better QR system in this category.
