These feel solid, well built, and have a good amount of clamp force. Sometimes I just like to hold them and fidget with them. Not sure what I'm going to use them for now, since I decided to not go ahead with the use I originally had for them. I have a weakness for buying useful gizmos. Even though they're sitting around doing nothing now, I still don't regret buying them, because they'll solve one or more problems some day. Small devices that I can use to clamp anything, even if it doesn't involve camera equipment.
I had previously bought the other version of this that comes with a mount, and I like that one too... I was hoping these clamps would be the same as the one I got in that kit, and they are identical. So I got what I wanted.
