Really surprised just how good this is. I use this for some of the finer controls in some of my games too (point and click style). The one thing that would make this even better is for it to automatically turn on immediately when I take it off the iPad. You have to press the top button to wake it, but for the price you cannot go wrong

I recently purchased the M4 iPad Pro (2024). This UGreen stylus cannot be charged wirelessly with the 2024 iPad Pro, but I liked the fact it had USB type C charging. Plus it can be charged wirelessly on older iPad models.

It comes with a type C charging cable and is the same length as the official Apple Pencil Pro. It does look ever so slightly chunkier, but it is practically the same size, so I had no issues storing it in my Spigen case.

Be aware that the type C charging port is at the side of the stylus and the cover can be easily lost. I don't think it looks bad without the USB charging cover, but I would have preferred the charging port to be at the top (where the power button is).

I can't comment on battery life at this stage. I've only had to charge it once or twice so it does seem to be good, charging quickly and with good standby time. In hindsight, I should have perhaps purchased the type C only version as this does not charge magnetically with the newer iPad Pros. Of course, magnetic charging is still useful if you are using older iPads.

I've spent a few weeks with the stylus to gather my thoughts on it. At this price range, I think it's a great option.

Having since purchased the Apple Pencil Pro, I've been able to draw a fair comparison against the best pencil available for the new iPad Pro.

The UGreen stylus lacks the new squeeze feature which brings up a menu for pens and erasers. It also doesn't have barrell roll, haptic feedback and Find My Pencil functionality. I'm mainly looking to take notes with these pencils and I've found it to be suitable for that. Admittedly, I have grown to love the new features that were introduced in the new Apple Pencil Pro.

My wife holds pens and pencils differently to me and due to her writing style, she preferred the Apple Pencil Pro. The Apple Pencil Pro is undoubtedly more accurate, but for note taking, I've been happy with the UGreen stylus. Apple Pencils are much more expensive so you need to be realistic with your expectations of quality when you buy a more affordable stylus.

Overall, I think UGreen have produced a good product so it is easy to recommend.
