Works well as a stand for my iPad Air - holding it either vertically for video calls, or in a more relaxed position as a 'monitor', when I'm typing (cf. Logitech K380 - 5/5 so far) - but it can be little unstable if you accidentally knock or brush against the iPad while it's mounted, especially in the vertical 'videocall' position.

In its defence, there's a lot of adjustment in the three joints to enable you to find the right balance for your task/circumstances, and their rigidity will ease a little with time (I've had the stand for a while but only been using it daily for the last month, so joints are still quite stiff). I also generally use my iPad in portrait format, would likely challenge any stand's centre of gravity - a slightly larger base, or having the pedestal closer to the centre of the base, would probably help, but this is fine if I'm careful.

All in all, it's a useful tool that adapts to my needs, so I've given it 4* for now.

If you're looking for an okay stand, that elevates your device around 4 inches, this is worth considering.

Sadly, the UGREEN Aluminum iPad Stand only raises the device between 3.5 inches and 4.5 inches (depending on how you want to tilt it).

A total waste of money for me, as I wanted to use an iPad Mini with it and it's so short, I needed to put the UGREEN stand on a box, in order to comfortably view it.

Looks okay and seems quite sturdy. Just way too tiny.
