This is well-built and fits perfectly on the Raspberry Pi 3B - the Power over Ethernet (PoE) functionality is a great feature, allowing for a cleaner setup without the need for extra power cables.

The official active cooler included is effective at keeping the temperature down, which is especially useful during intensive tasks.

The combination of the HAT and the cooler works great, providing both power and cooling in a compact package.

If you’re using your Raspberry Pi for projects that require reliable power and temperature management, this setup is worth considering - and it's very affordable in my opinion, excellent value for money.

Ich wollte mir einen kleinen WLAN/Netzwerktester aus meinem Raspberry Pi 5 bauen.
Um hierfür den Raspberry nicht immer mit einer Powerbank betreiben zu müssen ist der PoE Hat genau richtig.

Das PoE HAT Set von Geekpi kommt mit folgendem Lieferumfang:

- Original Raspberry Pi Aktivkühler
- GPIO Verlängerung
- POE Pin Verlängerung
- Abstandshalter (5stk.)
- Schrauben (9Stk.)
- Mini Schraubendreher

Prinzipiell ist das Set mit 36€ nicht ganz günstig, allerdings bekommt man eben auch einen original Aktivkühler dazu.
Benötigt man diesen nicht, ist man ggf. mit einem anderen Set besser bedient.

Zur Qualität des Aktivkühler gibt es nichts groß zu sagen. Bewährte Qualität und erfüllt seinen Zweck.
Sofern das Betriebssystem dies unterstützt läuft der Lüfter auch nicht auf 100%
Alternativ und falls die gesamte Kühlleistung nicht benötigt wird, kann man den Lüfter auch abstecken und den Kühler als Passivkühler nutzen.

Der PoE Hat selbst ist gut verarbeitet, die Platine ist mit einer Schutzschicht überzogen, sodass keine offenen Leitungen berührt werden können.
Ebenfalls ist der PoE Hat mit dem Raspberry Pi 4 wie auch der aktuell neusten 5ten Generation kompatibel.

Für die Montage muss man einfach nur die GPIO und POE Pin Verlängerung aufsetzen und dann kann man den Hat auf den Raspberry schieben.
Hat man kein Gehäuse sondern nur den nackten Pi, können die beiliegenden Abstandshalter und Schrauben genutzt werden um alles stabil zu verbinden.

Nutzt man ein anderes Gehäuse, so wie ich, muss man ggf. mit anderen Abstandshaltern und oder längeren GPIO Adaptern arbeiten.
Bei meinem Gehäuse liegt der HAT leider direkt auf dem Kühler auf, was somit auch den Lüfter verdeckt.
Aber wir sind hier ja am basteln und daher gibts nichts, wofür es keine Lösung gibt. Man sollte sich dem nur im Klaren sein.

Im Großen und Ganzen bin ich sehr zufrieden mit dem HAT. Er versorgt mein Raspi zuverlässig mit Strom wenn an einen entsprechenden Switch angeschlossen und somit gibt es von mit 5 Sterne und eine Weiterempfehlung!

Bonjour, j'ai reçu cette carte chapeau pour un Raspberry Pi 3B+/4B/5.
Cette carte permet simplement d'alimenter le raspberry pi directement via un câble Ethernet sans passer par le câble d'alimentation.
Résultat la carte ne chauffe pas car aucune prise secteur branché dessus ce qui optimise grandement son utilité.

Il nuovo modulo progettato da 52Pi e fornito da GeeekPi permette di alimentare il device attraverso connessione Ethernet PoE, ovviamente previa compatibilità con il router, che deve predisporre della funzionalità Power over Ethernet. Da considerare l'assorbimento complessivo dei moduli e delle memorie: potreste avere problemi di undervoltage, in tal caso un iconcina di allarme apparirà a schermo.

N.B.: non va inserita anche l'alimentazione tramite USB tipo C, il dispositivo potrebbe guastarsi.

Le dimensione complessive permettono l'inserimento del dispositivo nella maggior parte dei case presenti sul mercato. Nella confezione è presente inoltre la ventolina PWM ufficiale, che adegua la velocità in risposta alle temperature del Raspberry. Inoltre, è possibile usarlo su Raspberry Pi 3B+/4B/5 collegando opportunamente il piccolo socket a 4 pin come mostrato nel manuale ed indicato sulla scheda. Considerando il rapporto qualità/prezzo, le funzionalità offerte e la qualità dei materiali, assegno al prodotto un punteggio di 4 stelle su 5.

Il nuovo modulo progettato da 52Pi e fornito da GeeekPi permette di alimentare il device attraverso connessione Ethernet PoE, ovviamente previa compatibilità con il router, che deve predisporre della funzionalità Power over Ethernet. Da considerare l'assorbimento complessivo dei moduli e delle memorie: potreste avere problemi di undervoltage, in tal caso un iconcina di allarme apparirà a schermo.

N.B.: non va inserita anche l'alimentazione tramite USB tipo C, il dispositivo potrebbe guastarsi.

Si estás buscando una forma sencilla de añadir PoE a tu Raspberry Pi 4 como es mi caso y mantenerla fresca, esta tarjeta PoE+ es justo lo que necesitas. Es compacto y hace un buen trabajo manteniendo la temperatura bajo control gracias a su ventilador integrado.

Lo instalé en mi Raspberry Pi 4, y la conexión PoE funciona de maravilla, proporcionando una conexión estable y cargando el dispositivo sin problemas. El ventilador se activa solo cuando es necesario, así que no tienes que preocuparte de ruidos constantes.

DESIGN:
Questo HAT PoE+ è fornito con adattatori di prolunga dei pin GPIO e PoE della scheda madre, distanziatori in ottone e relative viti, cacciavitino, dissipatore attivo ufficiale RPi per modello 5 e istruzioni. Questo prodotto si adatta ai seguenti modelli Raspberry, ovviamente, forniti di presa Ethernet: 3B, 4, 5 e ricopre tutta la parte di scheda RPi delimitata dai fori, quindi tutto tranne la regione delle prese USB e Ethernet.
L'aggancio ai pin GPIO e a quelli dedicati PoE avviene con un connettore basso con fori passanti e quindi sono fornite le prolunghe passanti sia per i 40 pin GPIO, che per il gruppo da 4 (2x2) dedicati per le schede PoE. Da notare come tale gruppo, nel modello 5, si trovi dal lato opposto della scheda rispetto alla posizione occupata nei RPi 3B e 4, pertanto la scheda PoE ha due gruppi di fori, per adoperare quello adatto alle diverse versioni. A parte la scelta del gruppo di fori di montaggio per questi pin, la scheda non richiede altre modifiche o configurazioni per passare da un modello a un altro.
Il supporto dichiarato a PoE+ permette di gestire potenze fino a 30 W, consentendo, in principio, il supporto alla piena funzionalità dell'alimentazione del modello 5, che dovrebbe essere in grado di erogare sufficiente potenza anche a dispositivi energivori collegati alle prese USB.

MONTAGGIO E USO:
Occorre una certa attenzione a montare e smontare le prolunghe, particolarmente a non piegare i loro lunghi pin passanti, specialmente se si intenda smontare e rimontare l'HAT passando da 3B/4 a 5 o viceversa.
Data la forma e la dimensione di questo HAT, il montaggio, che altrimenti richiederebbe solo la sopracitata attenzione nell'inserimento degli adattatori di prolunga, pone ulteriori problemi legati al raffreddamento della sottostante scheda RPi.
Volendo ignorare i distanziatori a corredo (o usandone altri più corti in ottone o teflon facilmente reperibili sul mercato), è possibile spingere fino in fondo sia gli adattatori di prolunga sui pin GPIO del RPi, sia la scheda PoE sull'adattatore, raggiungendo l'altezza minima di montaggio. Ciò è possibile solo in assenza di dissipatori attivi (che, anche se di altezza compatibile, avrebbero lo sfiato della ventola bloccato dalla scheda HAT), o passivi di dimensioni "importanti". Pertanto, è un'opzione praticabile solo per il modello 3B, in caso non si raggiungano condizioni d'uso tali da richiede più raffreddamento di quello, solitamente sufficiente, fornito dai piccoli dissipatori passivi in alluminio o rame, per il processore e altre componenti, largamente diffusi per questo modello.
In questo caso, lo spazio rimanente tra dissipatori e scheda HAT è solitamente sufficiente a fornire il ricambio di aria richiesto o può essere aiutato creando un flusso di ventilazione aggiuntiva tra le due schede.
Adoperando, invece, il distanziatore, è possibile montare il dissipatore attivo ufficiale sul RPi 5, o altri dissipatori, attivi o passivi, ma sottili, sia su questo stesso modello che su RPi 3 e (soprattutto) 4. In questo caso, lo spazio dovrebbe essere sufficiente e, comunque, ci si potrà efficacemente aiutare con un'altra ventilazione tra le schede come descritto sopra.
In questa opzione di montaggio, però, occorrerà o far fuoriuscire poco i pin GPIO delle prolunghe dalla scheda HAT, o tenere la prolunga solo parzialmente infilata nei pin della scheda RPi. Cosa sia meglio, andrà provato di caso in caso, oltre a dipendere, ovviamente, dal fatto che serva o meno accedere ai pin GPIO per ulteriori scopi.
Entrambe le opzioni di montaggio sono illustrate nelle foto allegate, che si riferiscono ad un'installazione della scheda HAT su un RPi 3B. Linee e frecce aiutano a capire gli spazi tra il dissipatore passivo del RPi 3B e la scheda HAT soprastante nelle tue ipotesi di montaggio.
La scheda è stata poi provata senza ulteriori accessori, dimostrando una piena funzionalità.
Ovviamente, un test più approfondito richiederà condizioni d'uso più energivore, e, in particolare, un RPi 5 con dispositivi USB collegati che consentano di verificare le prestazioni PoE+ dell'insieme RPi+HAT.

CONCLUSIONI:
Il prezzo di 36,99 € al momento della recensione non è sicuramente economico e rappresenta una frazione non indifferente del costo di una scheda, e ammonta anche a più del doppio di quello di un alimentatore ufficiale Raspberry. Tuttavia, ci sono condizioni nelle quali l'alimentazione PoE rappresenta l'unica possibilità praticabile e ,in tali casi, questo accessorio diviene un "game changer".
Occorrerà tuttavia considerare anche i dettagli del modello di RPi utilizzato, il suo carico di lavoro, le condizioni ambientali operative, eventuali case e forme di montaggio e la necessità di utilizzare altri pin GPIO del Raspberry.

HAT PoE+ versatile (per RPi 3B, 4, 5, con PoE+) e funzionale (quanto, dipende da uso e modello).

DESIGN:
Questo HAT PoE+ è fornito con adattatori di prolunga dei pin GPIO e PoE della scheda madre, distanziatori in ottone e relative viti, cacciavitino, dissipatore attivo ufficiale RPi per modello 5 e istruzioni. Questo prodotto si adatta ai seguenti modelli Raspberry, ovviamente, forniti di presa Ethernet: 3B, 4, 5 e ricopre tutta la parte di scheda RPi delimitata dai fori, quindi tutto tranne la regione delle prese USB e Ethernet.
L'aggancio ai pin GPIO e a quelli dedicati PoE avviene con un connettore basso con fori passanti e quindi sono fornite le prolunghe passanti sia per i 40 pin GPIO, che per il gruppo da 4 (2x2) dedicati per le schede PoE. Da notare come tale gruppo, nel modello 5, si trovi dal lato opposto della scheda rispetto alla posizione occupata nei RPi 3B e 4, pertanto la scheda PoE ha due gruppi di fori, per adoperare quello adatto alle diverse versioni. A parte la scelta del gruppo di fori di montaggio per questi pin, la scheda non richiede altre modifiche o configurazioni per passare da un modello a un altro.
Il supporto dichiarato a PoE+ permette di gestire potenze fino a 30 W, consentendo, in principio, il supporto alla piena funzionalità dell'alimentazione del modello 5, che dovrebbe essere in grado di erogare sufficiente potenza anche a dispositivi energivori collegati alle prese USB.

MONTAGGIO E USO:
Occorre una certa attenzione a montare e smontare le prolunghe, particolarmente a non piegare i loro lunghi pin passanti, specialmente se si intenda smontare e rimontare l'HAT passando da 3B/4 a 5 o viceversa.
Data la forma e la dimensione di questo HAT, il montaggio, che altrimenti richiederebbe solo la sopracitata attenzione nell'inserimento degli adattatori di prolunga, pone ulteriori problemi legati al raffreddamento della sottostante scheda RPi.
Volendo ignorare i distanziatori a corredo (o usandone altri più corti in ottone o teflon facilmente reperibili sul mercato), è possibile spingere fino in fondo sia gli adattatori di prolunga sui pin GPIO del RPi, sia la scheda PoE sull'adattatore, raggiungendo l'altezza minima di montaggio. Ciò è possibile solo in assenza di dissipatori attivi (che, anche se di altezza compatibile, avrebbero lo sfiato della ventola bloccato dalla scheda HAT), o passivi di dimensioni "importanti". Pertanto, è un'opzione praticabile solo per il modello 3B, in caso non si raggiungano condizioni d'uso tali da richiede più raffreddamento di quello, solitamente sufficiente, fornito dai piccoli dissipatori passivi in alluminio o rame, per il processore e altre componenti, largamente diffusi per questo modello.
In questo caso, lo spazio rimanente tra dissipatori e scheda HAT è solitamente sufficiente a fornire il ricambio di aria richiesto o può essere aiutato creando un flusso di ventilazione aggiuntiva tra le due schede.
Adoperando, invece, il distanziatore, è possibile montare il dissipatore attivo ufficiale sul RPi 5, o altri dissipatori, attivi o passivi, ma sottili, sia su questo stesso modello che su RPi 3 e (soprattutto) 4. In questo caso, lo spazio dovrebbe essere sufficiente e, comunque, ci si potrà efficacemente aiutare con un'altra ventilazione tra le schede come descritto sopra.
In questa opzione di montaggio, però, occorrerà o far fuoriuscire poco i pin GPIO delle prolunghe dalla scheda HAT, o tenere la prolunga solo parzialmente infilata nei pin della scheda RPi. Cosa sia meglio, andrà provato di caso in caso, oltre a dipendere, ovviamente, dal fatto che serva o meno accedere ai pin GPIO per ulteriori scopi.
Entrambe le opzioni di montaggio sono illustrate nelle foto allegate, che si riferiscono ad un'installazione della scheda HAT su un RPi 3B. Linee e frecce aiutano a capire gli spazi tra il dissipatore passivo del RPi 3B e la scheda HAT soprastante nelle tue ipotesi di montaggio.
La scheda è stata poi provata senza ulteriori accessori, dimostrando una piena funzionalità.
Ovviamente, un test più approfondito richiederà condizioni d'uso più energivore, e, in particolare, un RPi 5 con dispositivi USB collegati che consentano di verificare le prestazioni PoE+ dell'insieme RPi+HAT.

CONCLUSIONI:
Il prezzo di 36,99 € al momento della recensione non è sicuramente economico e rappresenta una frazione non indifferente del costo di una scheda, e ammonta anche a più del doppio di quello di un alimentatore ufficiale Raspberry. Tuttavia, ci sono condizioni nelle quali l'alimentazione PoE rappresenta l'unica possibilità praticabile e ,in tali casi, questo accessorio diviene un "game changer".
Occorrerà tuttavia considerare anche i dettagli del modello di RPi utilizzato, il suo carico di lavoro, le condizioni ambientali operative, eventuali case e forme di montaggio e la necessità di utilizzare altri pin GPIO del Raspberry.
