For DJI Stabilizers: The quick release plate for Arca is specifically designed for DJI RS 4 / RS 4 Pro / RS3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 3 mini / RS 2 / RSC 2. Camera cages with H38 quick release plate for Arca at the bottom can slide directly into SMALLRIG 4639, for example: SMALLRIG Cage for Sony A7R V/A7 IV/A7S III/A7R IV/A1 - 4481.
Lower Center of Gravity: The overall center of gravity is lowered by 9.5mm, making it easier to level on the RS 3 mini. It can be compatible with heavier cameras, such as for Sony FX3 + 24-70mm lens, for Canon R5 + 24-70mm lens, for FUJIFILM X-T5 + 16-55mm lens, for LUMIX GH6 + 12-60mm lens can all be installed on the RS 3 mini.
Quick Release Structure: The HawkLock H38 quick release clamp for Arca on the top adopts exclusive roller-assisted disassembly and assembly, and self-locking one-button slide, without secondary reinforcement. The quick release plate for Arca on the bottom has a dedicated slot for swift mounting of the RS 3 mini stabilizer.
Anti-deflection Design: The quick release plate for Arca on the top has an anti-deflection design, making the camera more securely mounted.
Safety Lock Pin: The quick release clamp for Arca on the bottom has an adjustable anti-drop safety lock pin to prevent accidental toggling of the trigger and causing the device to fall.

Gimbals are great but sometimes just little things like attaching and removing cameras can be a drag and the RS series of gimbals definitely needed a quick release option and here it is.

The first thing you notice here is the build quality. This is super solid and will literally last you a lifetime. It is built with all the usual Smallrig quality. They're the best in the business for video and photo gear now and this product is a perfect example of why.

Installing the plate is an absolute breeze - it has Arca Swiss fitting, and has the hawklock H38 fitting system which if you dont' know what that is trust me you will want to get integrated into that system of quick release plates and fittings - it's superfast to work with

Once installed and camera attached it doesn't move or wobble. This thing is built and machined perfectly to offer a stable and reliable fitting and to help you with your video or photo work.

I'm using mine with a Sony FX3 and usually a Sony 20mm 1.8 and it's perfect for that but I know it would easily support a much heavier lens so don't worry if you have a zoom lens or heavier prime.

Another great product from Smallrig so huge round of applause from a very happy customer who's gimbal work just got a whole lot easier!

The quick release on top is one I haven't used before and now I wish all my gear used it, it's very very securely locked with just one easy to press button. The included plate is arca compatible as well as the base of the unit so you can seamlessly integrate this with any gear you already have.

Ich nutze die Schnellwechselplatte an einem RS 3 Mini - Gimbal.
Wie bei vielen Produkten, die nur einen einzigen Zweck erf��llen - den daf��r aber perfekt - gibt es nicht wirklich viel zu sagen.
Die Platte passt perfekt, ist erfreulicherweise nicht zu hoch, ist sehr schnell zu l?sen und wieder zu schlie?en, ist stabil, verdreht sich nicht. Durch den Arca Swiss Adapter kann man die Kamera (falls man nicht ins Manfrotto-Ecosystem eingebunden ist) auf anderen Stativen sofort einsetzen.
Eigentlich sollte DJI seine Gimbals mit solch einem Schnellverschluss serienm??ig ausstatten.

Fazit: ein eigentlich unverzichtbares Accessoire f��r jedes Gimbal - in gewohnter hervorragender Smallrig-Qualit?t.

Utiliza una estructura patentada de liberaci��n r��pida (llamada HawkLock) que da una fijaci��n sin posiciones falsas, permitiendo la carga y liberaci��n con un solo movimiento.

El sistema de liberaci��n r��pida HawkLock H38 es realmente c��modo, se bloquea y desbloquea con un solo bot��n, y se agradece la seguridad que transmite. Con esta placa se baja el centro de gravedad de la c��mara en el gimbal, lo cual, aunque no lo he necesitado mucho todav��a, se agradece para equilibrar mejor c��maras m��s pesadas o lentes grandes.

I got this hoping it would give me an easy way to take my camera in and out of my RS4 gimbal. My camera has a smallrig camera cage (with arca-swiss mounting). So I figured - great! This will let me quick-release my camera.

I'm sure smallrig will have tested this with their own cameras, right? Like in the photos?

But no dice! The way the mounting bracket securely holds an arca-swiss grip isn't compatible with smallrig's own camera cages. So with a bit of force, my camera can just slide out of the side of this mount. Its not secure at all.

It would work if you use the included tripod plate - but if I'm going to add more crap to the bottom of my camera, I may as well use the tripod plate that came with the RS4 and skip all of this.

What a waste of money. Would not buy.
